Overall always great food Sweets are way too sweet. Malai Ghewar had hair on it and no trace of malai but they insisted it had malai but no malai or very thin layer that I could not taste or see much, Ghewar was frozen and even after thawing at home malai did not pop up. Not fresh ghewar, they have frozen sweets. So same like buying frozen.

I’ve tried 1/2 kg ghewar from this place atleast 4 times this season in the hopes of getting good but now I won’t buy ghewar from here cz it’s frozen , had hair, no malai, way too sugary, malai makes it less sugary but absence of it is just sugar.

Instead of going in detail all I’ll say is their two employees at the counter don’t take feedback positively. I have never experienced such customer service.

I have decided not to visit this place for the next one year even though their non-sweet food is great and I’m still keeping overall 4 stars for the food.

However the attitude of these two employees made me decide taking a break for some time.

So I was there for Rakhi day for sweets . So I asked the price and got some sweets , I asked if they can make a mix of same price category sweets , they did . Then they billed me $ 20.50 even for the 16.49 $ category. I asked them it’s from same price range not a price mix . But she kind of ignored . I won’t want to create a scene of 10-15 $ . So I just paid and left . But when I sat in car I saw that they put the price of ghujia of whole 1 pound , which I bought only half a pound . I couldn’t help it , so I went back to store and ask for it . And I raised the same question again to the different cashier this time . They refunded my price of half pound ghujia and 2 dollars more . I think they still charged more for the mix of same price sweets . I like the Bikanervala sweets , I was happy that we have a local shop now , we use to go Edison before . But it was disappointing. As even the staff was apologetic . If you go there “ DO CHECK THE RECEIPT” though the sweets were good I took the pictures of the sweet boxes and the refund receipt, couldn’t find it now ,...

Bikanerwala in New Jersey truly delivers an exceptional experience! The food is outstanding and consistently delicious, capturing the authentic taste of India. The Cholay Bhature were absolutely the best—perfectly spiced and as good as you'll find back home. The sandwich was fresh and packed with flavor, while the Ras Malai was moist, juicy, and simply divine.

I was equally impressed by the Dal Tadka—authentic and bursting with traditional flavors. The Kachori and Bread Pakora were also incredible, showcasing the care and quality that go into their dishes. I even packed Matar Kulcha to go, and it was just as delicious as everything else.

Special shoutout to Pooja at the register for being so helpful and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Hats off to the entire Bikanerwala team for maintaining such high standards. A must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. Great job,...
