Papa Joe's catering missed the mark for Easter dinner. First, it was REALLY hard to get a hold of anybody from the catering department. I tried calling and e-mailing with a question about our upcoming order, and it took days to get a response. Then, upon delivery, we were missing an item we'd paid for. When I called, the manager interrupted me right off the bat, said he knew about it, and told me that he'd meant to call me to give me a heads-up (but didn't). He said that it just never got made and there was nobody in the kitchen to make it for us, so we were basically out of luck. Our guests were arriving in 45 minutes, so we had to run to the store to get replacement items. It was then that we realized that they had also forgotten sauce for the stuffed shells, as well as reheating instructions for all of the food (we'd ordered it to arrive cold with reheating instructions). The shells themselves were sloppily prepared and chewy .The regular pasta, salad, and carrots were fine, so that was one positive. And they did refund us for the missing item plus the delivery fee, so I appreciate that. But we don't feel confident enough to order from them again next year. With all of the options for catering available in the area, I'd think twice before...

Edit: You can see response by owner below in which they point out that it is clearly stated on purchase receipt that they absolutely won't stand behind their merchandise after insinuating I mistreated their sub-standard product. No worries, there are other vendors that do. At least Papa Joe's did reply to my review that is why I kept rating 2 stars. Original review: Bought a bouquet of flowers on Sunday 12Sept, took them directly home less than a mile and cut 1in off stems and placed in water.. Dead or dying Wed 15Sept. Returned with them to get a refund on 15Sept was told by customer service person that his hands were tied can't give refund, only replacement. I explained they were for girlfriend and I'm not returning there today. He offered no resolution other than more probably suspect flowers(none of the bouquets i purchased originally as I'm sure what was left had to be disposed of). Surprising or maybe not Papa Joe's would jeopardize a $150+ a week customer over $34 worth of flowers. Sad, Papa Joe's...
