Great food, BUT I would not want to dine in again because from the time I sat down to the time I left a woman was sweeping the entire dining room floor including both booths on each side of mine. It caused floor dust and debris into the air which got into my eyes and I am assuming into my food as well. YUCK! In my opinion that should have waited till the last customer has left the building. The sign said open till 10 pm. I was there at 9 pm and left at 930 pm and the entire time I was there the vibe I got from the staff was "when is this lady going to leave so we can go home" I could see them from the corner of my eye when they would keep looking over at me to see how fast I was eating. (this was not my waitress, she was cleaning up in the back) That's exactly how I want to feel after a long day when I'm finally sitting down to eat a $20.14 meal. ( I paid the $1.99 up charge for the veggies but not the $1.99 up charge for hummus! Its a Lebanese restaurant, I would think a little Hummus would come with a $20.00 meal for one person.) NEVER AGAIN. :( Too bad, because the...
Read moreI found this place via Google as I was looking for a place that offers raw juices. I looked at the menu through the link from Google. The prices are not even close to actual. That has little to do with my review, however it does lean me towards value for the food. I ordered chicken breast salad over fattoush and a carrot apple juice. The salad and the dressing was good. The pita chips were the best part, and perfectly crispy. The chicken was overcooked (partly burnt) and therefore dry. The Carrot apple didn't have the right balance. Too much carrot, not enough apple. Maybe that is simply the sweetness of the apple itself, but that's the key to good juices: finding the right balance. It tasted more like carrot juice alone. I will say that the person who took care of me was very friendly, but didn't have a sense of urgency to get to me. He was more converned about cleaning the table, even though it was the only dirty table at the time. Mediocre altogether, but I'd offer then...
Read moreThe service was excellent, I would give it a 4.5 if I could, but I would have to lean a little more towards 4 than 5. I ordered the lamb and hommus, with rice and the chicken rice soup. The soup was excellent. Also tried some juice (beet, carrot and orange), which was good. The one thing that was a letdown to me was the lamb. It was cut into very small pieces and they were overcooked. Personally, I prefer my lamb in larger chunks, which wasn't there problem, but I know of they were larger, it would be harder to overcook them. They gave us complimentary rice pudding to share, which was quite tasty. I would definitely give it another shot and let them know my lamb preferences next time so that I may change this to 5*, but to me, lamb should never be cooked like it was. It wasn't terrible, but I just couldn't quite go to 5. Give it a chance, just be specific with your lamb order if...
