Their new nighttime store manager is arrogant, rude, disrespectful is an understatement. She embarrassed not just me but my young son as well as she literally yelled across the store accusing me of having stolen the 2 items I previously had in my hand & putting them inside of my bookbag. It was so embarrassing. You'd think she'd have felt the need to maybe apologize to men& my son for making a scene around us being "thieves " when, lo & behold, I walked her right to the 2 items I'd allegedly stolen ... they were sitting side by side on a shelf near where I'd had my bag open. She refused to apologixe. As I walked out the door, again with my young son beside me, the alarm went off. I stopped, & allowed the nice cashier lady to check my bad & even tho she found nothing inside my bag, this store manager (who doesn't have a single professional bone on her body) made me wait put my bag down then walk thru there door. No alarm. She had me do the same thing a 2nd time except with the bag in my hand that time... no alarm. & then she turned to my young son &said to him "okay, you walk thru." NO ALARM. When I asked for an apology again she told me.she didnt owe me one, she was just doing her job. Then she started loudly declaring "OH THEY GOT THE RIGHT ONE NOW" & whatever loud, obnoxious hootin' & hollerin she did after that. Before u left I told her that she didnt have to handle that situation that she should treat people with more dignity & respect. She then threatened to ban me. Told me to "get on before [she] bans me. Im still in shock. I'm not sure how that woman got that managerial position I understand they must be pretty desperate for people right now but that woman is the absolute worst of the worst and she is 100% racist and you can't convince...
Read moreThis location needs to be shut down. This is the closest location to my house, so it's convenient. But, the employees are rude and untrained on basic transactions. Especially the skinny older lady. Don't know her name because none of the employees wear name tags. That's IF you can even find them IN the store. All of them are always hanging out in front of the store leaning into a truck window parked in the fire lane. One visit, I had to wait 10 minutes at the register for the cashier to come back inside. I was doing a simple PayPal load and had the barcode on my phone for them to scan. First, I was told they don't provide that service, even though I had done it the day before. Then, she went to the door and had the other cashier come inside, and they had to call someone else on the phone to tell them how to do it. They finally did my PayPal load and told me their printer wasn't working so I couldn't get a receipt. We have the same printers at my job, so I said they should turn it off and back on. Turns out, it was just the paper roll was empty and neither of them felt the need to check it. I had parked in the spaces in front of the store, and by the time I got in my vehicle and backed out, both of them were back outside talking to the person in the illegally parked truck again. Read moreThe shift manager "Porche" was extremely rude and refused to complete a refund transaction in which $10 was to be added back to my debit. She accused me of not having the correct card and tossed it on the counter and walked away. She had made a mistake thinking the reference # was my card # even tho it's listed on the receipt as debit! She refused to listen and in my frustration I told her she needed glasses or learn to read her receipts. She got very hostile threatening me with trespassing and barred from the store. I apologized but she still refused service. She stated she was calling the DM but refused to give me the name. Her attitude was as if I was robbing the place. I felt very uncomfortable in front of customers during her show. Communication and resolution was never an option. The other young attendant was very polite but she refused me service because she was afraid of her manager. I would like a meeting with her and her DM. The Dollar General down the street at Foodlion completed in 1 minute what she failed to do. She needs anger management. I'll pay for it! I will go back because I've been going there since it was built with no issues. I'm sure she was having a bad but so was I at that point. The customer wasn't right in her mind.
