By far the WORST Penn Station I have ever been to. My boyfriend and I stopped there at 9pm to grab a quick bite to eat. Upon pulling up I thought they were closed on account of the sign being turned off. We walk in and the smell is horrid on account of one of the employees moping with a dirty mop. Because he was moping, all of the chairs were stacked on the tables which I thought was highly rude. Had I not been starving I would've went elsewhere to eat. I ordered a grilled veggie. When I got my order nothing on my sandwich was grilled so I take the sandwich back up to the employee and he says he forgot to ring it up. It looked like the guy literally put lettuce, tomato and onion on bread that was it. What it was, he didn't want to clean the grill back off to make the sandwich. Anyway so I had him re-do the sandwich. It was still horrible. I could tell he was irritated because customers were coming in near closing time. The Penn Station I had been to before had excellent grilled veggies. The "lettuce" at this location was yellow, it was just all bad. So when the associate asked me how the food was I told him it was disgusting. He responds "yeah, no one likes it. No one hardly orders it..." Well I totally see why! This was the worst Penn Station from the food to the employees trying to close up the...
Read moreI'm a little disappointed on the service I recieved tonight. First I waited too long for a simple six inch sub and a small fry. There was a woman working with extremely long nails who came from the dining area from dealing with customers then proceeded to handle orders. I observed the same woman interact with another customer including helping her with the app on her cell phone and then proceeded to fix a sandwich without washing her hands or putting on gloves. Cell phones are nasty and it's cold and flu season so she should've washed her hands after having it all over that lady's cell phone! And with nails that long you should have on gloves all the time or not be working around food period! I observed another guy stop cooking to take a female's order with the gloves on his hands still. Along with scratching his nose and arms. He could've changed gloves but he should've washed his hands first! My order was made incorrect but I wouldn't dare have anyone in there make it over because nobody is washing hands while dealing with food. My sandwich was free because I downloaded the app is the reason why I didn't ask for a refund. I would suggest being mindful of how you handle people's food especially when they are watching you! Maybe some additional training...
Read moreI ordered in when I got home I realized my daughters sandwich was missing the meat. Her order never changes, Meat, cheese and lettuce only with fries. This is the 1st time we ever got a bun full of lettuce and a few pieces of meat. I attached the photos. I spoke the the manager, Kayden, he confirmed he made the sandwich and then affirmed he put the correct amount of meat on the sandwich. I told him I'd send photos if he'd like but he said there is no where to send them to. So I insisted, I wasn't offered a credit of any kind. But this just isn't acceptable. It's not about the money, it's the principle. I took my time, gas and money and chose to support this establishment. They advertise large over flowing sandwiches with meat hanging off the bun. Now none of our sandwiches ever looked like the photos unfortunately but it was enough meat to satisfy us so we continued to support the chain. But as a paying customer, I deserve better than this. After waiting 34 mins they just sent me out the door with the left over end of the night scraps as if I were getting it for free. Penn Station, do better. And a apology would have been appreciated. Look at the meatless sandwich...
