Escape Day Spa & Boutique — Local services in Rock Springs

This place has unfortunately gone down hill in the last few years. It’s the cleanest spa 🧖‍♀️- and their shower rooms are very nice, so this is why I mainly book my massages & spas. Their booking schedule is unorganized and very far out. Their staff are young teenagers, who are usually standing around or talking about personal lives.

I’ve had a few of the young staff be disrespectful to me during my visit. My last encounter, I called to use the steam room while leaving work- they left me on hold for 20 minutes, forgot about me & I was able to make it all the way their in my car while still on hold. When I walked into the building, the girls were all congregated at the desk talking until I mentioned to them that I was the woman still on hold (while putting them on speaker phone playing their automated hold message on loop 🔁) the embarrassment they had, by being addressed …. May or may not have been enough accountability for them.

I’ve been waiting for weeks to get in again- but they just called me last week - and pushed me to another further date.

I tried to leave work (at 5pm) to jet over to use their steam room (since online their closing time is 7pm & I do this often) I was told “no, because they close at 6” which was very confusing & frustrating to me of the inconsistency.

So again …. If it wasn’t for their clean facilities & there were other options in town…. I wouldn’t...

Took my mom here for a surprise massage. They had some cancellations so we were able to do a short facial and a pedicure too. The facilities are really nice and the services extensive.

The massage and facial were great. However the pedicure left a lot to be desired. We were booked for the most extensive pedicure and all the masks and stuff were fine, but the attention to the nails was lacking. The didn’t clean under or around the nails, and the paint job was poor and messy. My big toes were still wet an hour later after a facial and steam, despite paying extra for the faster drying polish, and when I put my socks and boots on it further smudged my nails.

Pretty disappointed with the pedicure, especially considering the cost. The costs (for all services) at this spa are on par with with that of a large city, like SF or NYC, even though it costs much less to do business in Rock Springs. So, I expected more in general.

Overall good, but docked for the poor pedicure. They need nail specialists for these services instead of...

Very friendly, get to you quickly. I had a facial. It was nice and the lady did an amazing job on massaging my neck and scalp which was also like her playing with my hair and that felt amazing. I just wish I could’ve gotten the facial I wanted. I wanted extractions, the steam, the whole package deal..... they said I was getting the best, but I honestly can clean my face better than that. She did do a good job, not taking that away from her but for the price I paid I was expecting a Four seasons facial. She didn’t cleanse my neck really or chest, or massage my arms and hands like normal, possibly bc I told her I was suffering from migraines. She may have wanted to concentrate on that. I just feel like for the price I paid it should’ve and could’ve been better. Very friendly tho. Don’t know if I’ll be going back bc I’ve paid the same amount and got an entire day of spa treatment, so it’s definitely not worth the price but the ppl are friendly and if you wanna buy some cool things I guess they do have a pretty cool...
