We went to BB yesterday and a wonderful young man, Carlos, took care of us. We left our laptop to be picked up today. This morning we returned to pick up the one computer we left and have work done on another. The only person there was a person (although lovely) did not know anything about computers. We were sent home having been told that an antivirus device was installed on both our laptops. When we got home, we realized that they never gave us back our chargers. We returned once again and worked with Jeremy, a very nice and capable young man. He was able to change our telephone contact number (which the person this morning couldn't even do) and also check on our antivirus device that was supposedly installed earlier in the day. We were suspicious that it had not been installed since we never received a code via email. Jeremy apologized profusely, and told us it had not been installed, even though we paid for it. We came home to check the box the device came in looking for some code to install it from home, but it was not there. We now have to go back to BB tomorrow and pray that either Carlos or Jeremy is there. Both of them were wonderful and very savvy. Had we not had to deal with the one incompetent person, we would not now be in this situation of traveling what will be, 4 times - 45 minutes from our home. After speaking with Geek squad over the phone they told me that my file that was corrupted was recoverable and they made an appt for me to bring in my laptop - when I got there the lazy jerk didnt even open my laptop - didnt even ask a question - He said "yeah I was reading about your file issue and we cant help you - you could send it out to our repair techs but they probably wont be able to recover it" Well ok if you read that and knew that - why wouldnt you call me to tell me not to come??? I had to waste 40 minutes out of my work day and $15 in gas. They said it was one of the fans that needed to be replaced, but for whatever reason they couldn't order the part, I had to do it myself and bring the laptop back when it came in. Fine. I make an appointment and bring it back, and no one even acknowledged me until my appointment had come and gone. When the rep finally came by, he didn't ask any questions about it and just took my computer right into the back and left me sitting here waiting again.
