Everywear — Local services in Rockford

My 2 middle school age kids came in here after school to find a birthday gift for their dad. I was working so I wasn’t with them, and sometimes this makes me nervous because kids are historically treated rather badly when coming into a store in downtown Rockford without a parent present. However, this is something they wanted to do on their own and since they are getting older, I wanted to let them. The employee (owner?) at this store was absolutely amazing. He asked them what their ideas were and took the time to show them different options at different price points so they could narrow down what they wanted. In the end they chose a very nice sweater, and are so excited to give their dad his gift. The employee even threw in a few extras at check out. The way they were treated, with kindness and care, made this such an enjoyable experience for them and I cannot thank you enough. Bought a nice long sleeved henley shirt for $80. I wore it around the house a few brief times. I hadn’t even washed it yet when I noticed a tiny hole on the chest area. Took it back and was told, “It’s past the 14 day return policy, can’t help you.” No offer to replace it, sell me another at cost, or even take it and have the hole sewn up by a professional seamstress. No attempt, of any kind, was made to help solve my problem. Earlier this summer I witnessed a guy, at this store, get a brand new t-shirt after he admitted to washing and shrinking the first one he bought! Why didn’t I receive the same liberal customer service for my problem? I just moved to downtown Rockford, trying to support the community and “buy local.” Not sure if I’ll ever shop in this establishment again.This is too bad because the clothing in this store...

I cannot say enough nice things about Everywhere, the shop employees and the products they carry. Every time we walk in the door, they knows us, remembers my husband’s style and what we have liked or disliked in the past. He stands behind his products and works with sustainable brands who offer great quality pieces. While we’ve had a few clothing pieces that didn’t hold up per the care instructions on the tags (usually washing in cold, rarely drying them), we’ve always been satisfied with the resolution. Thank god for this men’s wear shop in Rockford Michigan - I’ve been asking to update my husband’s wardrobe for years, and finally he has agreed to purchase clothes from Everywear, so long as they fit his extra-medium build. It’s so nice having a local shop to frequent and know you’re getting a great product that will last...
