There is a great GULF of differences in the Walgreens on Barton and the one on Clearlake! The difference I found out last night was that the pharmacist at the one on Barton cared about me as a person! She took the time to go over the reactions of my prescriptions with me and explained patiently and lovingly, what I should expect and how certain medications reacted with others. I was in total shock because I have been dealing with the callous, uncaring, rude and disrespectful people at the Clearlake Rd. Walgreens. I remember John, a pharmacist who retired from the Rockledge pharmacy, how very sweet and caring he was to me many, many years ago. Apparently, it is continued with the pharmacist I met last night. I don't mind waiting for an Rx if you treat me with respect and caring! It is wonderful and a privilege to wait for the treatment I received last night! The pharmacy on Clearlake is the total opposite! Not once did they explain to me the reactions of my medications to each other. I commend the pharmacist on duty 8-16-2021 at the Barton Ave Walgreens between the hours of 6pm - 8pm. Thank you, you made my day after being frustrated and angered by the indifference and callousness of the pharmacist on Clearlake Rd! I had to suggest a common sense resolution to procure my meds by asking why they didn't call other Walgreen pharmacies to inquire about my medication, if they had it in stock. They took my advice and sent me to the Barton Ave Walgreens. Why did I have to suggest such a...
Read moreI’ve been with Wallgreen’s for year’s, and for this past year I would say I’ve been treated very bad . When you take your scrips they can tell weather they have or not . Most of the time they tell me come pick it up the next day . When I get there the next day , they always have it.for me ,lately they don’t have it . I know they playing games . I’m a senior with lot’s of Medical Condition and they play with my medication. I don’t appreciate it . So I feel for those who have problems with curtain people. I will not say no names but I take names and make curses so that one day they will be in the same pain that I am in . They will be on the other side of that register and remember what you do to others will come back twice as bad . I also shop there , but my husband and I decided that we will not spend a penny at that Wallgreen anymore .There are some nice people but a lot of them have to go especially from the pharmacy. They have even turned David , who use to be nice . Maybe because I’m Puerto Rican , I was born here in New York . I don’t deserve this treatment. Thank You I hope someone in the CEO reads these comments because it’s not right . They way they treat...
Read moreHave never had an issue before - until Amanda became manager. My family has been using this store for many years, and today I went in to buy some beer for my mom and I. I accidentally picked up non-alcoholic instead of alcoholic which I didn't not realize until I got home - being that for some reason they still checked my ID. I went back to exchange the beer and the said it was "federal" policy that they can not exchange alcohol which my item was considered (somehow?) I looked into it after leaving without an exchange and realized that it was not true. So I called the store to ask to speak with a manager. The manager (AMANDA) began yelling and stating that it was WALGREENS policy now(?) Not federal. Amanda spoke over me and was just all around nasty. Go to the CVS across the street great people and...
