Ice Cream Hut Rockledge — Restaurant in Rockledge

Went to Ice Cream Hut in Rockledge for the first time. Was pretty excited because the plaza has come to life with all the new businesses and we now have a local ice cream place. There was a car show today (8/12/23) and we planned on getting ice cream and make an event out of it. Walked through the doors and we were not greeted or acknowledged, we were the only customers in at the time. Good vibes was definitely lacking. Normally, that is enough to make me walk out of an establishment but we looked at all the flavors they had to offer. My fiancé asked for a sample and the young ladies behind the counter looked as if it were an odd request. The sample tasted good so we placed our order. The way the counter is set up inside is ridiculous. Your in the way of others if your still deciding what you want. Then when u go to actually order you have to figure out who is waiting to order and who is just looking at the menu so your not cutting someone off. When I ordered, I specifically asked for no nuts….yet they were put on there anyways. Then what I ordered did not say that the brownie was warmed up on the menu. So when I finally got my order, the ice cream was completely melted. We also ordered a toasted marshmellow milkshake. 100% did not taste anything like toasted marshmellow. Everything tasted better than I had expected! I strictly had the cheesecake foster the few times I had gone and I believed that nothing could ever top it. Recently I decided to try the extreme milkshakes starting with the chocolate explosion and it was so delicous that I got myself in trouble by having to come back the next two following Saturdays to try the other two flavors- cotton candy and then smores.
