Front desk is either a mix of people who do not want to stand around and help people or people who are overwhelemed cause of the former. Always groups of young adults when it get's to lunch or closing time, and I feel bad for the sucker who has to handle everything else. Always talk talk talk, and seem to slink away then actually do any work. Let aloen stand their on their phone or looking lost.
They shut off their only other entrance becuase of theft(?) issues and now turned it into an emergency exit. (NOT FOR CUSTOMERS) Now it's pretty much dead or dirty around that corner, not just the sitting area, either. And they also leave it half-done like most of the stores. Fridges are hit or miss of not working, with the back ones near the sushi and starbucks area are just luke-cold, at best. Shove anything storagewise or not in the way of isle or eyesores like next to the bathroom close to their starbucks.
They added a Pokemon Vending Machine but not bother getting anything else fixed or done? What, they want the extra cash from the demographic around them? Half painted buildings, pricing labels that are just out of date, the parking lot is a mess (from uneven sections for carts, trash, kids diapers, underwear, etc) -- the palcement of where they need to get things is also trash, but I heard it was the city's fault? Why not in the middle? What an incovenient.
This Kroger speaks potential but all it does is wave it's money around for being close to downtown and either can't keep with tthe changes that ARE NEEDED or corp and such...
Read moreOmg if this wasn’t the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced! I was so excited to find a Kroger closer to home. I live in Farmersville! I go and get over $400 dollars worth of groceries. Having a lot of things unavailable I needed. I get to the only checkout open with 3 people in front of me! The lady waiting next in line asked if there was someone that could help. She ended up leaving. Then a gentlemen got the 2 people behind me with groceries! Not the next two people in line! Then as we are checking out and sacking our own groceries the other cashier is just checking bags and cleaning registers as the line is backing up and I’m sacking my own groceries! I go to the supervisor to ask him if they don’t sack groceries anymore and he responds that they are understaffed at the moment! So I told him he was cleaning registers why wasn’t he helping! He said well he should be on a register! Very rude! I’d ask a question and he would respond with “And” “okay” then when I told him I would call his manager to report the issue he said “call them” then when I asked what discount I get for doing their job and sacking $400 dollars worth of groceries. His response was “nothing” This situation would have not been a issue with a simple “I’m sorry” Never once did he apologize he just has a really smart mouth! Never will I step foot in this...
Read moreMy husband and I had an amazing experience at the Rockwall Kroger on North Goliad. Theo, the manager, absolutely went above and beyond!
I’m pretty much a rookie at the whole process of ordering online. Recently, we were scheduled for the last pick-up of the night with a pick-up time from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM. We notified the Pick-Up Area on the Kroger app that we were on our way. Unfortunately, we pulled up at 9:03 PM, and we notified them that we were in the parking lot. On the app, it said the Pick-Up Department was closed for the evening. After knocking on their door and receiving no answer, we headed into the store to see the earliest time that we could pick-up our order the next day. That’s when we ran into Theo. After explaining our situation to him, he said that he would be happy to help. He immediately stopped what he was doing and headed to the back of the store to the Pick-Up Area. Theo proceeded to gather our order, and we got a sneak peak at their very clean, tidy, and organized workplace.
Theo went the extra mile. More importantly, he did not have to help out at all, especially since we were late for the pick-up time. His help was very much appreciated, and very refreshing; it was great customer service with a smile! It reminded me why many in our extended family have been avid Kroger customers...
