Sorry!! I love chipotle, but for whatever reason, Rockwall just canāt seem to get anything right.. That goes for most of the chains over here. I am not sure if people in Rockwall do not take pride in service or cleanliness, but it seems like most places canāt even serve a pizza or ice cream the Way most cities would clean and serve with pride, not sloppy sloppy sloppy. I was so excited when this opened as I would probably be eating here twice a week. Since there is nothing to eat around hereā¦1st Time dining.. was no one in there clean and everybody was obviously just learning. The food didnāt look very fresh, but I still went for it tasted fine. Was surprised that the food looked like it had been sitting out for hours especially considering they just opened. I would think they are trying to make a good impression.
2nd time, food looked fresh and tasted fine except the queso was not Made correctly as it Did not taste good, which is not the case When dining at other chipotleās. Also, I was watching the girl wipe The top of the glass over the food so that whatever she was using to wipe the glass was actually falling in the food and the food she was wiping off the glass was falling in the food. Tried to pretend I didnāt see it ā¦
3rd time the place was dirty and employees were standing around rather than wiping off tables Or cleaning the girl that made my tacos put the salsa on last. Like hello. I am not sure why On earth a Restaurant that specializes in tacos and burritos put salsa on top of the lettuce and cheese so itās oozing all over the place. Sloppy. I would think this would be the first thing they teach you on day one.
It was just crazy to me.It was literally a disaster Watching her it make, Spilling it everywhere and it an even bigger disaster trying to eat it. Not to mention because of the way she made it by the time I drove three blocks and got home and opened up the foil. Everything was just soggy and gross.ā¦.ended up Getting sick from the food.

It was obvious that she had already decided to be rude and unhelpful before our interaction even begun. She first blamed me for not coming in until two days later, even though I tried to resolve the issue by phone and through the app the day of. She then asked for a picture of our bowls, which I showed her, and then she tried to say that those werenāt chipotle bowls, even though they clearly were and I LITERALLY HAD THE RECEIPT WITH ME. She refuse to do anything about the situation and then recommended that if I didnāt like her answer that I could dispute it with my credit card provider. This woman needs to be fired. I understand people have bad days, but that behavior was absolutely unacceptable. We will never be eating at this chipotle again and we are unlikely to be dining at any chipotle. If I could write negative stars, I would.
We ordered for pick up through the app and not only did they get our order wrong but the parts that they did get right were completely under portioned. My bowl had zero chicken in it and had a puddle of bean juice at the bottom. The bowl was less than half filled in total even though I ordered extra beans. My wife also was severely under portioned on her chicken (she maybe got 5 pieces, but that was more than me!) We tried calling but their number is intentionally disconnected as others have mentioned in their reviews. I also tried reporting the issue on the app through their AI agent āPepperā who said thanks for the feedback and then ended the conversation without any offer to repair the order. No corporate number to call and if you try to use their website you just get stuck in an endless hell loop with good for nothing āPepperā. He said well itāll be 10-15 minutes if you want us to make itā¦ā¦ we said yes but really confused, I proceeded with another order and a girl came to take over, but had attitude when I asked for extra salsa, she forgot my lettuce which I didnāt realize as I was trying to pay⦠once I got to table I realized I went back and asked for a cup of lettuce and the girl rolled her eyes and I asked for extra lettuce and she rolled her eyes againā¦. My husband and daughter patiently waited 15-20mins for the steak to cook and got back in line to finally finish their order, and a family in front of them asked for cheese and they said weāre out, the lady of the family kindly asked if they could grab more in the back and the girl I asked for lettuce was rude to this lady with a short ānoāā¦so she was basically out of luck for her meal⦠so my husband walked out of line to me and I said well just go get a refund of our pre paid orders⦠so he did and then did they go get the cheese and shredded it.
