Malliway Bros. Spells, Charms, & Potions — Local services in Rogers Park Township

Even with other metaphysical shops closeby, I will make the hour trek to Malliway without reservation. The store offers a variety of supplies (herbs, bones, oils, incense, ritual tools, tarot, a scrying mirror, flying ointment, statues...I can't list them all!). A lot of their offerings are crafted by the owners or purchased from small, one-person businesses.

I also enjoy their book selection. They have some beautiful hardcovers & rare texts. The Owners also have their own publishing company, Crossed Crow Books, that publishes quality titles. Their special editions are wonderfully crafted. Another highlight? The types of books. Subjectwise, they have everything--TradCraft, Sabbatic Witchcraft, Wicca, divination, astrology, indigeonous practices. There is something for everyone, at every level & any practice.

Let's talk atmosphere. Think Victorian Seance meets Village Witch Cottage meets the Magic Box from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I'm throwing the last one in for fun!). The shopkeepers are very hospitable & know their stuff, always willing to help. I've met the owners once. Not only are they knowledgable; they have hearts of gold as well.

They host workshops/rituals/gatherings through "the Witches' Conclave". I've only attended one led by Wycke and it was very informative, hands-on, and full of energy. I don't really know anyone in Chicago, so it was nice to be around like-minded folks. Admittedly, I'm on the shyer side but I thoroughly enjoyed the company.

Some of the strange things that happens at my house outside and they help me out a lot and so I just need to figure out something else about this thing kind of I don't know what to say I don't think I should say cuz I don't know but anyways there's something out there and and you're helping me get rid of it and I know I pretty sure you're away how to get it away from here and gone but it's a little bit of a task that I learned but I'm pretty positive I could do it I'm might need one other person to help so anybody wants to help let me know and then into the paranormal stuff that would be great have a great day And if anybody wants to go rent on again it was up for some crazy kind of adventure or whatever you wanted to say or whatever it is Make a comment on here and let me know I'm pretty good at the app and it takes you to places and you see things that are extremely strange and out of the ordinary and you just have to try it. Just found this beautiful occult supply shop today when doing a search for 7 day yellow glass candles. I've never really lived in Roger's Park so I always bought my Spiritual supplies in Greek town but today I really felt super blessed.

This cozy and unique shop has many lovely and tempting items like journals, special candles 🕯 infused with herbs, taxidermy preserved objects like squirrel heads, rabbit, alligator and possum feet etc.

You can literally wander around and find herbs 🌿 in tiny packets for spell work and beautiful pieces you can use for your alter. Everything I found was beautifully packaged and I definitely appreciated the aesthetic and effort made to make customers feel like they're walking through a gallery or apothecary.

There are antique chairs with a couch, coffee table and seating area in the front with bookshelves filled with reading material if you want to browse and read 📚 in style.

Phoenix 🐦‍ made my dog 🐕 Mr. Troika feel extremely welcome today and Troika obviously didn't want to leave especially after he was given a treat. Expect to find numerous playful and unique pieces for spellwork and your alter. Everything is so tempting!
