Ah, The Glenwood—where the beer flows like a gentle stream, and the camaraderie is thicker than the foam on a freshly poured pint. Let’s break it down, shall we? 🍻 Atmosphere: Picture this: You walk in, and the air practically hugs you. It’s like the bar whispers, “Hey there, regular or newbie, we’re all in this together.” The vibe? As friendly as a golden retriever with a tennis ball. 🎾 Dog-Friendly: Woof! 🐶 The moment you step through the door, a four-legged ambassador greets you. Tennis ball in mouth, tail wagging like it’s on a mission to power a wind turbine. It’s like the place has a secret motto: “No tennis ball left behind!” 🐾 Drinks: Meet Micki, Lovely Judy, and Jenn—the bartenders who’ve mastered the art of pouring liquid happiness. Craft brew? Check. Classic pint? Double-check. And rumor has it, they’ve got a secret stash of unicorn tears for special occasions. 🍺🦄 Affordability: Wallets, rejoice! The prices won’t make your credit card breakdance. It’s like The Glenwood whispers, “Hey, budget-conscious friend, come on in. We’ve got deals that’ll make your piggy bank do the cha-cha.” 💃💰 Hours of Operation: Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM (because even bars need beauty sleep) Friday: 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM (TGIF, right?) Saturday: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (when the night owl in you spreads its wings) Sunday: 11:00 AM - 2:00 AM (because brunch and brews are a match made in heaven) So, if you find yourself on the Far North Side of Chicago, follow the scent of good vibes and wagging tails. The Glenwood awaits—a place where laughter echoes, and the beer flows like a river of liquid sunshine. 🌞 Cheers, my friend! 🍻

Live by glenwood and wish it would be under different management. I have noticed now several times that they poor not always what they claim to have in their battles. One time I was there i ordered cetel one martini and it was definitely not higher grade vodka that was in the bottle. Could not even finish the drink and I proved to myself by having the same martini at Rogers Park Social and I was right! Totally different quality vodka. Also, now twice I caught them to sell miller light from stella and charge for stella. So be aware! Otherwise its cool place to have a drink in...

Micki is truly awesome and there are many sweet regulars. However, there are 2 bartenders who, on multiple occasions were beyond belief rude, totally destroying any good vibe that I came in with. Also, since they must not clean their taps, I actually had to pour out my nasty beer! I NEVER do that. So, come on Thursdays when Micki works or enter at your own risk. So sad, because it has so much unrealized potential. All it takes is a nasty bartender or two to ruin the...
