On April 8, 2023, (5:30-6:30 p.m.) Assr Mngr Jose' (No name tag) took my pickup order on phone. I had a coupon for each of 5 pizzas I wanted to order. He refused to allow me to use my coupons except for one pizza. I told him I would have my Easter guests each call on their cell phone and place an order using their coupon and I would pay (with credit card) and pick up all 5 pizzas. When I went to pick up pizzas, I received mine right away...no problem. Next, I received my daughters...no problem. I paid for each separately but quickly. Jose told me he had no order for Jarett (my son- in- law). I was standing next to my son-in-law when he placed the order! Jose' became agitated and rude. He announced...in front of several other customers that this would be the "last time he would allow an order to be placed like this and that I was holding up all the other customers from getting their pizzas"! I matter of factly told him he was rude and that I am a regular "weekly" customer and he should be appreciative I chose to do business with him. Next...a new employee...found Jarett's order! Jose' had typed the name in incorectly! I told him that by him not taking the time to type the name correctly, he was responsible for slowing down the process! I told him I was going to report him to the Corporate Office for his unprofessional rude behavior towards me. Next, I still needed the last order for Eva. He claimed it was "in the oven" even though her order was placed in sequential order and should have been done. Jose was mad at me and deliberately held the last pizza up for over 30 minutes just to get back at me! I have ordered pizzas at this store for over 20 years. I have always used coupons. I have never been told I could only place an order for one pizza with coupon/ per visit. I went to the trouble of having my house guests order their own pizzas, using their own personal cell phone numbers. I simply picked up all orders and paid for each order using my credit card. This is no different than a delivery service picking up pizza for a customer and delivering to their home. Jose' needs to understand that customers should not be treated like this. Customers are who pay his salary! He needs to understand that this particular Papa John's location is most convenient to my home and I will continue to place orders here. Jose' may need to find a different niche in life where he does not have to relate to the public and be...
Read moreCurrent Papa John's day shift is probably the best time to order from the Rogers Walnut location. Friendly and accommodating I couldn't ask for better service. (Dayshift gets 5 stars.) Night crew however is an absolute joke. ( 0 stars to night shift) My 1st time ordering my pizza from this location it looked like a freshmen highschooler's face. The dough was raw and I was given less ingredients than properly called for. So I took the pizza back to have them correct it and after doing so the girl wanted to argue. Then the "corrected" pizza was even worse and even less cooked. And as work days go I didn't have the time to deal with it/call and complain about it a 2nd time. I wasted 20 bucks with this order as the pizza was completely inedible. There have been other occasions where I ordered during evening hours that made me just about give up ordering from this location. Tonight I ordered garlic knots with an extra parm. dipping sauce. First problem? They gave me marinara sauce. Second problem? They didnt put any sauce on the knots. I don't know if bc I ordered the extra dipper that they figured I didn't need it on the knots but I most certainly did not ask for bread knots. Third problem? They looked more like garlic nuts than garlic knots. Which made dipping a problem. So my question is, is the night crew messing with me? (FYI I used to work for Papa Johns so I know how the menu items should be properly made and how the ingredients should be properly...
Read moreAt 1705 on 19 Dec. 2021 I placed and paid for an internet order with my local Papa John's (2810 W Walnut St, Rogers, AR 72756). At 1835 I called about the order since the "tracker" showed the order delivered. After several minutes and numerous exchanges between staff it was discovered that my order was still there. I was assured the order would be on it's way shortly. At 1858 I received a call from the store asking if I lived above a "Tire Shop" (some research found that a tire shop is on the OTHER SIDE of Town). Even though I have been ordering from this Papa John's for the last 10 years it was not possible to find my home this time....I agreed to drive over and get my order; even though I had already paid the delivery fee. I arrived at the shop at 1920 only to find my order cold, no apology from the manager, and of course no offer to ReMake the Order or Refund even part of my purchase. Inspection at home Found the order correct but Quality was lacking the "Bacon Jalapeno Popper Rolls" for instance were the regular "Jalapeno Popper Rolls" with crumbled bacon tossed in the box (I have a photo). Over the years Papa John's has been my preferred Pizza ....this incident...
