My daughter has a Volkswagen diesel that could be very easily mistaken for a gasoline vehicle. The gas attendant, not knowing started to put gas in it and stopped right away once he realized it. I called the store and they got me to the manager who was very helpful in getting me in touch with the owner. The owner was very prompt to get in touch with me right away. Through this process, I got to meet the owner and his wife, and they are wonderful people. The owner met up with me at the Mechanic to have all the gas taken out along with a new fuel filter and my system flushed. While this may have been inconvenient, it is so often you hear of gas stations either blaming the customer or making the process very hard. Good select of food and easy to get to but staff are completely rude and judgmental. I have seen the homeless go there to get food and the ones I have seen are well behaved and respectful but the staff treat them horribly and rush them to get them out as if they’re not even human, not to mention the overcharges that they constantly do to where a few cups of ramen and chips and a drink reach 24 to 35 dollars and the prices are always inconsistent. The only kind staff member there is a lady and she’s been pleasant every time to me and my bf but other than that the others need a major attitude adjustment. We used to come here almost daily, but never again! My boyfriend filled up his gas tank with his debit card ($45ish)and they put a 3 day hold on his entire account balance of $19,600.00!!! Why on earth a gas station would need to hold almost $20,000, really makes me wonder what's really going on. When he went in to talk to them about it, suddenly, the cashier who previously told us he has spent some time going to Berkeley in California, can no longer understand or speak English.
