Corporate, please contact me. And please contact store employees to verify what happened. I came in today 8/27/24 at about 11:45am to get my usual veggie patty footlong, I happened to get the older chubby lady that works there (turns out she's the manager) she asked me what I wanted and I told her, she then said she only has enough veggie patties for a 6-inch, so I asked how much does a 6-inch cost, she then told me the price so I told her I'm not going to get a sandwich, and that'll get something else, she then proceeded to go in the back and cook the veggie patty anyways and then came back out and asked me what bread I want, I said "I said I didn't want a sandwich", she then rolled her eyes at me and said "I already cooked the patty" then scoffed, shook her head and walked away (literal angry teen behavior) then angrily stormed into the back, so I just kept looking at the menu for what I wanted, she then came back out and angrily said "what do you want dude?" So I calmly said "what's your problem?, why are you being so rude?" She then proceeded to tell me I'm not allowed there and then called the cops. Not kidding. I waited the cops arrival to explain to them what happened, even the cop was dumbfounded by her immaturity and quite frankly psychotic behavior. Her co-workers seemed extremely embarrassed on her account. Multiple customers told me as they walked out that I was very nice as well. This is extremely concerning behavior coming from a middle/late aged Subway manager, I'm always very polite when interacting with food service workers, as a former food service worker myself.
I highly encourage corporate to contact me and the employees working today. This is complete abuse of managerial position. And I will be filing a formal complaint with the Subway corporate office as well.
Again I came in at approximately 11:45am on 8/27/24. Getting the Cops called for ordering a veggie sandwich today was a shocking reminder that Age does not equal maturity, nor intelligence. -Also meant to add, she was not changing her gloves from the register to...
Read moreI was informed that they "Do not do water cups" when I asked for a cup for water after completing my order. It's $3 for a bottle of water here. They charge $14+ for most of their 12 in subs here. Add 3 for water, and your looking at about 19 for a fast food lunch.
After doing manual labor outside with no water source, I looked forward to a standard complementary cup with some water as much as I did a sandwich.
How cheap of the owner of this franchise to decide that 4.75 cents for a cup and maybe 1 cent for water was too much for his/her budget.
I had a very very dry sub. Would not recommend.
Update: Dear owner; I specifically asked "Can I get a cup for water?" To which your employee replied "we do not do water cups anymore"....... she was not a new untrained employee, she was very experienced and was probably managing. There was never any implied or mention of the size of the cup between either one of us. I actually thought she was joking initially. I believe you may have even come in right after, if that was you changing the cashier's till? There were only two ladies working. You should really do some retraining or hire more...
Read moreAVOID THIS LOCATION! They could improve service. There are about 4 places to stop between them and the freeway! Why would you lock your traveling customers out of your restrooms?? They don’t even keep the restroom clean enough for that rule. It’s a one room, unisex bathroom that a code must be generated on your receipt for you to use and the sign on the door says if you argue about it they will kick you out. So while you’re traveling down I-5 to your destination… stop at any other Subway. Your business will be more appreciated than it is here!
As this is my only way to reply to the “managers” reply. You’re wrong. “Many” other businesses do not do it this way. I’ve been traveling from Indiana to California to Texas to Washington often and i frequent many stops in many areas that deal with the issues you describe and EVEN the McDonald’s that use a code to allow customers to utilize the bathroom don’t make you hold your urine to order first and than leave your food on the table for anyone to grab while you use the bathroom! Nice try! Your business practice is flawed! By the way your sign was spelled...
