I'm pretty boring, or just know what I like, so I get the same drink and have yet to try anything food wise, but I've heard the pastries and breakfast food is delicious, so I'll have to try sometime soon.
I am in a wheelchair and can't reach the card machine well and always notice in businesses whether people offer to help me or just stand there and let me struggle. Everyone in this coffee shop has been so friendly with me, never making me feel like a problem or like they're having to go out of their way to help me. I tend to sit outside at one of the patio tables if it's busy and someone always offers to open the door for me, which I very much appreciate. If I sit inside, generally, there is even a customer who will hold the door open for me as I'm coming in, which is so nice.
I also appreciate not having to pay an arm and a leg for a specialty drink. Unlike so many other places, I have noticed Cascades is pretty dang cheap and for good...

The lady on register had no idea what we were ordering, my husband was asking if the matcha was a latte and she said it didn’t have any coffee in it. When I got my espresso it was in a 12oz cup with my espresso and whipped cream all the way to the top. (Traditionally it’s a dollop on top, a very small amount.) She offered to remake it, which was perfectly kind, but I declined. I didn’t need to waste it. It just wasn’t at all what I was expecting. My husband’s matcha was also very weak, said it tasted more like warm milk than anything. My point: If you’re going to have someone on register, they need to know what they’re selling/making. If you have something on menu made non-traditionally, it needs to be...
Read moreThe BEST. We were on a long roadtrip up I-5 and in desperate need of some cold caffeinated treats after a hot few days of camping and birding the Cascades. This spot was right off the exit and SO GOOD, absolutely hit the spot. We got the wildberry smoothie and a chocolate muffin which were both high quality, but the Mt Bachelor Blend espresso drink (frozen) was absolutely decadent and lifted our spirits/energy for the many miles of asphalt ahead. I'm drooling again just thinking about it. Screw Starbucks, go here instead every time. Wish we didn't live so far away from this awesome refreshment oasis!! The barista working behind the counter was so nice and...
