To start the People that work there are Fantastic. They are fun Laid back Fair. my reason for the negative review is on the problems I have Had with getting guitar work done. I brought my G & L tele to them for a set up and told them do what it takes I need it perfect. There was a buss on the E and A string. While i Was having that set up I bought a Teton from them (highly recommend Tetons). The teton needed a setup bad so i picked up the G&L and it still had the buss so i decided to have the teton setup and bring the G&L back after the teton was done. I received a message the Teton was done so I went and picked it up and the action on the guitar was not addressed. so i left it there and couple days later got a message it was done. Drove out there and when i got there they were still working on it. So i sat around and waited got the guitar and like it alot.I brought the G&L back to them to redo setup I get a message guitar was done so i go up to get it. When i get there they tell me it could use a fret level but they raised the action a little. So once again i tell them fix i want it perfect. So couple day past got a Message guitar done i fly up there to get it. was told i own 100.00 on it fine paid the bill and took it out of the case and to my suprise buss E & A string. so i bring it back the following day. looking at it with a employee noticed the neck was not fully attached. the set screw that holds the saddles tight was not there. was told by G&L that screw you can't buy seperate you need to buy the bridge. So in a nut shell the guitar is not even play able when i tighten up the neck strings lying on the frets. I got the guitar back in worse condition then it was in when i first brought it to them. the owner did say he would refund 50.00 but lets look at this. 69.00 set up 100.00 fret level total 169.00. refund 50.00 leaves 119.00 i paid to them so now it needs another setup 69.00 to have someone else set it and the bridge is 90.00 not including shipping 159.00. so there workmanship costed me 159.00 to repair the issues they created. Great people but i will not be bring any more guitars to them for work. William Smith There is A correction After talking with a few of my trusted guitar buddies you can get the Bridge set screw. They call it a Grub Screw. G&L rep YIKES learn your stuff. Anyway what to be completely...
Read moreThis is a GREAT place. The owner knows everything there is to know about guitars and can perform miracles on a guitar that needs repair. Great teachers too.

Read moreCame in to look for a beginners electric that would fit my budget and my tiny 12 year old girl fingers. James at Guitar Shop in Rosemount was absolutely awesome. Found what I needed, showed me the guitar that I'm going to get, and explained how to get tones out of the computer tools that are out there now.
Super knowledgeable, good sales skills (not pushy, and not snooty "I'm a musician you peasant" attitude I've gotten at the bigger places.)
Going to be coming here for my gear from here on out....
