Rosemount Pho is in the former Mr. Wish building and still carries the same design. I ordered ahead for takeout and I’m glad I did because it doesn’t seem set up well for full service dining, so I wouldn’t expect that.
The food was a bit on the pricier side, it came out to $40 for a large pho tai, XL special pho, and cream cheese wontons. The cream cheese wontons were phenomenal! They were overly filled with a sweetened, tangy cream cheese mixture. They were not overly fried and were the perfect texture. It also came with my favorite sweet dipping sauce. You received a lot for the great price! On the other hand, the pho was not our favorite. The broth was insanely greasy! Grease was covering our table, hands, and utensils! Grease was seeping through the containers and the bags. I usually enjoy eating pho as it feels refreshing and “clean” but this left me feeling bloated and greasy. The broth was very dark and the flavor felt like it came more from the meat and not the bones. The broth is packaged separately from the noodles, meat, and toppings. The meat is raw so you’ll want to plate it right away so that the hot broth can cook the meat to your liking. On the plus side, you do receive a lot of meat!
Overall, I would not return for the pho. I would definitely return for the cream cheese wontons though. Their wontons might be my favorite...

I ordered bun bo hue and a banh mi for take out. When I got back home, the broth was still piping hot. This soup definitely hit the spot. A few bun bo hue’s I’ve tried around the area has a shrimp paste flavor—while I didn’t mind that as it is an umami oasis—Pho Rosemount’s was deliciously meaty.
The banh mi sandwiches are the best around the area! They include the pate, the mayo, the Vietnamese cold cuts that I crave when I am looking for a banh mi!
I will note, when I first walked in, I wasn’t really greeted anything. I kind of just waddled my way to the cash register and awkwardly waited for a few minutes before anyone said anything to me.
I am going to have to try their combination pho the next time I go back! Thank you for opening...
Read moreThis is my fourth time visiting this restaurant. The food is good, but there is one major flaw: the kitchen is extremely slow due to poor management. Even though I placed my order 30 minutes in advance, I still had to wait another 45 minutes for the food.
The customer service is also poorly trained. If you’re dining with a party of six, they serve one person at a time, with a 15–30 minute gap before the next person is served. This continues until everyone is served, meaning your group can’t eat and enjoy the meal together.
To make things worse, I ordered two house rice platters but received completely different dishes—fried rice and the wrong rice platter. I’m extremely disappointed. It’s unacceptable to waste this much time, receive the wrong order, and be treated rudely while waiting. I really hope the restaurant improves...
