Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Roseville

We went for lunch on Saturday 8/13/22 with our grandson. We place our order for drinks and our pizzas we paid little over $50 and waited for our large Italian Garlic and 1 cheese personal pizza for over 1 hrand 45 minutes. Every time we ask the manager she said your order is next sorry!. We still waited like another 30 minutes after she said that and we keep seeing that customers that got there after us got their pizzas, it was ridiculous. Finally she went to the kitchen and the young men told her the pizza was in the warmer. The Manager said they made a mistake in the kitchen and they did it to go, I don’t think it was the people in the kitchen faults, it was the Managers fault, she didn’t even give me a receipt, she didn’t even look like a Manager. We went to the restaurant because We don’t like to order pizzas to go because the crust get soggy, that’s the reason why we like to dine in, I was so furious that I didn’t even enjoy my pizza. Tonight I ordered a chicken garlic supreme pizza. Ordinarily, it is a very good pizza. Albeit steeply priced for a large at nearly $40.

Normally, I would live with the price as the pizza is usually well made and the flavor is higher quality. However, tonight was probably the worst Pizza I had from anywhere that wasn't pre-frozen.

The ingredients tasted old, like they were reheated after sitting out for a time. The crust had a texture akin to cardboard. The pieces were oddly sliced with some being inordinately small and some inordinately large.

When I initially opened the box one of the slices was sitting on top of the rest of the pizza. I don't know if the box got dropped and jostled around before I picked it up or not. From the taste of it, maybe the pizza itself even fell on the floor.

This was by far the worst experience I've had at any pizza place, let alone a round table. There are hot and ready Little Caesars pizzas that tasted fresher than this at less than half of the cost. If I could rate this 0 stars, I would.

Customer service was lacking. Order the special and got charged full price $79. We had words. Order time was 1 hr out. This place over charged me $15. Good thing they refund my whole order. This was over a .75 charge over black olives. Asking for it instead of the green olives. The employee refund me my whole order. They had to waste 4 cups and plate of salad. Cost them more then the stupid olives. Round Table has priced everything to extreme. There is better choices for the price. Birthday desicion gone bad at this location. Went to another Round Table got the same thing for 55 dollars - not order the $6 salad. Yes, I'm venting. What happen to trying make a customer experience happier. I wasn't asking for a whole pizza to be replaced. I know it goes both ways. The Chain policies have taken it to far for add ons. I want my voice to be heard as well. I don't usually vent like this.
