I arrived at Taqueria Grill in Roseville (located in the Raley's parking lot) at 12:08 PM on a Friday. The restaurant was quiet, with no tables currently occupied, and I noted that the environment appeared clean.

Upon approaching the counter to place my order, there was a brief delay before a staff member attended to me. As it was my first visit, I informed the cashier. I ordered the two-piece chicken tenders with fries, requesting the mild flavor option. I then proceeded to the beverage station to fill my cup.

My order was brought to the counter at 12:17 PM. When I went to retrieve it, the staff member returned to the kitchen before I could request condiments. After a slight delay and a verbal request, the server provided ketchup packets and promptly went back to the kitchen area. At this point, I was the only patron in the front of the restaurant.

The chicken prepared here are NOT bone-in or crispy fried, which was a disappointment. The flavor profile of the chicken was underwhelming, lacking any discernible seasoning and exhibiting a somewhat unappetizing visual presentation. However, the chicken itself was surprisingly moist. The meal was served in a to-go container on a slice of bread with two pickle slices. The fries appeared to be pre-seasoned, and in retrospect, I should have requested no salt, as the seasoning adhered significantly to the fingers.

Based on this initial experience, I would suggest considering the addition of bone-in chicken wings with customizable seasoning options to cater to a broader range of preferences. Furthermore, an improvement in customer service attentiveness, particularly in ensuring basic needs like condiments are met promptly, would be beneficial. Overall not a bad place. FOOD The selection is minimal, but the tenders are vert flavorful. They have varying levels of spice, and they do get quite spicy. They even have you sign a waiver for the most spicy one. I had the second to spiciest and it was intense. VALUE The prices are on the higher end (more than your standard fast food and wing place). They don't give much choice in quantity as other wing places, but the portions of chicken and fries they give is generous. SERVICE The employee was friendly enough but they didn't have a ton of staff when I was there. ATMOSPHERE It is a large place but despite being newly opened, the interior wasn't in prestine condition.

Online ordering was nice. The associate I that I interacted with was very polite and professional. The food is very meh. We just got chicken sliders medium heat. I thought the heat was really low for medium, I would have considered that mild. The chicken was fine, middle of the road, not too dry, not super moist. The bread was fine. Not enough spread on the buns so the sliders were really dry. Very light slaw was on the bun, I would have preferred about 4 times as much slaw as what was served.
