Dissapointed this branch does not have Calamari. The food is great, though. The tempura? Well, not really your panko crusted real Japanese tempura but more like fish and chips batter. The batter is not thick and not too oily, so you can actually enjoy it. Comes with potato, carrot, asparagus, onion ring, and pot atickers, but no zhrimp tempura. That's likely to be extra. I ordered the B special combo. There is too much food for one person. Can be shared by two people. The beef teriyaki is decent, and the thai chciken is actually just another teriyaki blend with pepper flakes. Lots of rice, for sure! The teriyaki sauce is typically sweet. The salad dressing is excellent. It looks like garlic butter, but it is similar to a miso dreasing. It's a little thick consistency, so it coats well. The soda fountain is wonky, so make sure taste test the flavor you want because when I got home, the Coke Zero is just plain colored water. The dining area is clean and looks new. The electeonic menu monitors are offline. Overall, it is not a bad joint for a fast-food Japanase food. The price is high, so thanks to inflation.

First time at this location, traveling home from soccer. Much like any franchise(location), there will be some variances in menu items. This I <3 Yaki was very unsatisfying. Ordered two noodle plates and they were like half orders (same price) compared to other locations.. you can actually see the bottom of the tray!! For my Thai plate, I didn’t get a green salad and dressing next to the bean sprout/cabbage salad. I asked and lady who barely understands me and says salad doesn’t come with noodle plate. I replied, “yes I know, I meant the Thai plate.” Then showed her how small our plates were and apparently it was normal. I posted pics and let you make the call. Skimped portions, even the rice. The salad had too much sesame oil and couldn’t taste anything else. The yaki sauce seemed watered down. The only reason this one got 3 stars was quality was pretty good and the bathrooms are clean. I will mark this one off my stops and travel twice as far next time for the Douglas location. My favorite one is Town and Country in Arden/Arcade.

The Real Deal is I Love Teriyaki Foothills which delivers on some good flavor! First off, the atmosphere was pretty boring, simple setup for dining in. Secondly, the service was ok, we walked in and right to the person at the register then had to wait for some food to be served by that person then a phone call then we got to place an order. Now onto the main Event: The FooD. The Sesame Chicken was very good tasted and reminded me of L & L BBQ Chicken Katsu 8/10. Another dish tried was the Tempura Combo with Teriyaki Beef, everything was great on the plate full of flavor and crisp (8.5/10). The Teriyaki Beef is just ok 5.5/10. Lastly, Teriyaki sauce provided was very salty like mostly soy sauce 6/10. Overall, I think I need another try here to give it a full sway one way or another. The

One Saturday evening, we decided to order sushi rolls from this restaurant through DoorDash. What we received was absolutely terrible. The rolls looked unappetizing, tasted awful, and the topping was sour — clearly made from spoiled ingredients. No one in my family could eat them.

The next day, I went to the restaurant in person to ask for a refund. The hostess spoke with the manager, but they told me they wouldn’t give me my money back and advised me to request a refund through DoorDash instead. When I contacted DoorDash, they said they couldn’t refund me either.

As a result, we ended up with no dinner and a ruined evening. I will never order from this restaurant again — not directly, and certainly not through DoorDash. It seems the restaurant’s management knows they can refuse refunds when the order comes through DoorDash, and DoorDash won’t help either.

I would strongly advise others to stay away from this place. The food quality is terrible, and the overall experience was extremely...
