I wish negative stars was a thing, because I’d be giving this place nothing but negative stars. I literally have nothing but issues at this location all the time. The only reason I ever come here is because it’s close to my house, and I only come here when I absolutely have to, otherwise I’m driving to Troy, where their customer service skills are definitely way better than here. This location lacks customer service, human decency, and kindness. And honestly, brain cells at this point. I’ve had issues with literally almost every person here, besides Elizabeth. She’s a doll. Dre who apparently somehow is a manager, and how he became one blows my mind because his customer service is awful and the way he treats people is disgusting and downright disgraceful. How do you have no empathy for people and their situations? My boyfriends system died on us a few days past the 30 day warranty period, and he come to do an exchange, an associate helps him and they pick out stuff for 30-40 mins, get everything ready, go to check out, and dre comes to help with the exchange and decides it can’t be done. After the time that was spent there, after YOUR associate told me it could be done, you now can’t help me? And when I ask to talk to you on his phone to explain our situation to you, my car engine blew, and I got hit by a car a week later and we’ve been trying to get up there and we’re literally only a few days past the date, and there’s no way you can help us out this time, to which you respond no there’s nothing I can do and you hang up on me on his phone??? You lack all customer service skills. I went to Troy an hour later and they did the return for me, no problems no issues whatsoever, even gave me a few deals while I was there. And that is why I will continue to make the trip to Troy. This location has gone down hill fast over the past few years. Read moreJust yesterday I took a lot my original NES games and the NES system itself along with a few games from some other older systems to sell. And having dealt with other similar stores I wasn't really expecting very much cash for what I brought in, that's just the way these places seem to work. They give you a couple of bucks for a game or something and then turn around and sell it for quite a bit of cash. To the point where you feel like you've just been ripped off!!! At Disc Replay this couldn't be farther from the truth! They treat you very fairly when you sell them things. I'm not 100% positive about this. But I'm pretty sure, based on the experience that I had that they give you 50% of what they would sell it for. For example if they would price an item that you sold them for $100 when it's on their shelves, then that means they bought it from you for $50. Like I said, I'm not positive that is the percentage that they go by, it could be less than 50%. Whatever the percentage actually is, I think that it's more than fair. Especially when you consider what the other video game retailers would give you. Anyone who has done this will tell you that you wouldn't receive anything even remotely close to what Disc Replay will give you. Not only are they really fair when buying stuff from you, the store itself is AMAZING! Its like a Gamer Heaven! They have pretty much every game console a gamer could want! From Atari to PS4, they can hook you up! Now there is no guarantee that they will have the specific game you are looking for, but then again if you are looking for a specific game that has been difficult to find, they are your best bet in actually finding it.
