Well a lot of money was spent on a super huge facility (160,000 sq ft) that has a tremendous amount of promise. Right now, it's essentially a gigantic room that can be subdivided into innumerable basketball courts, areas for volley ball, trade shows, etc. If you like glossy blonde wood flooring, which covers most of the area, this could be the biggest floor of its kind in California.
They utilized a lot of free tickets to get a few hundred people into the grand opening to check out the building, with a short, 10 minute show by Light Balance, the innovative dance troupe, shaking their ker-bouties in total darkness. Light Balance have computer synchronized lights on their bodies that blink in time to their enormously deafening basso profundo music. They were dazzling, and so was the brevity of the performance.
I'm sure that this building will bring a fair amount of tourism into Placer County. Tradeshows alone could generate significant business into Roseville. Clearly, they intend to have big sporting events for students in this building. On opening night, there were students doing martial arts, and basketball.

I arrived only 40 minutes after the Tri-County Home and Garden Show & Tiny Homes Expo opened and I had to park clear around the other side of the building from the entrance. The scope of the space really demands more accessible parking as well as more seating options. There were tables and chairs to sit and enjoy refreshments in the cavernous entry, but they were spaced so far apart, that the room could easily have accommodated twice as many! If people can rest, they are more likely to stay and buy things. Same goes for the...

Prior to that, about a year ago, for a loved one and their citizenship ceremony, which prevented our entrance into the building itself, due to Covid protocol. A large air conditioned auditorium and $10.00 to park, clean restrooms, plenty of seating, this all purpose structure does what it is supposed to do...accommodate an audience, or spectators, nothing fancy on the inside. I enjoyed the Grounds itself. Open air spaces for animals, grassy areas to sit and park your chairs in the shade of trees or barn like structures, which appear to be well...
