We recently purchased a used Dodge truck (3 yrs old) from Roseville Automall. We took it for a test drive and the check engine light came on. We really liked the truck so they kept it overnight and we picked up the next day. They talked us into the platinum package for coverage ($5,000) and we were off. A few days later the check engine light came on again. We called for the tow that the platinum package included and they tell us it would cost us $120, we declined and used our own AAA for free. We take the day off of work (not intentional) to go sit at the service department. We had to pay for our own rental car and finally 4 days later the automall reimbursed us for our costs. We took the truck home. 2 weeks later the check engine light comes on and we take it back, the light went off before we got there, sooooo there was nothing they could do. 3 weeks later it comes on again.....we take it down, again have to take time off of work. They keep it do some work on injectors/cam and lifters. We pick it up. Today 12/16/19, 4 weeks later the check engine light comes on again. We call automall and they give us the run around so we finally take it local, oh did I mention we are from Placerville, so we are driving and towing all this distance. We take it to Thompson’s here in Placerville and they diagnose it and tell us the automall did the work on the wrong side of the motor....incredible! Fortunately, we are still under manufacturer warranty so we are completely covered but what a pain! And everyone kept putting us off and passing us on. Except Alicia, she was a manager that really tried to help but the whole situation got so ridiculous that even she stopped returning our calls. Once you are out the door (and they might rig an automobile so it will make it out the door) they could care less about you. What a terrible experience! Beware! Don’t expect them to stand by...
Read moreHad to drop off the Lincoln for service. It had been scheduled for over a week. Zero customer service. Still waiting for a carton what is the matter. They did bother to call the wife to say our platinum bumper to bumper service contract probably won't cover. Never mind they don't know what is wrong.
UPDATE. They never did determine the electrical issue. They left it sitting for over a week, and said it was the battery, never bothered to look any further. I later took it in for a hard shifting transmission. It took them over three weeks to service the car. I can't figure out why it took three weeks for a drop and swap, literally a one to two hour job. Ford fortunately covered the entire swap out on a recall notice. I asked them to take a peek at the non functional heated steering wheel, while they had it. No dice. I also asked them to help me with the keyless locking feature. Also shined me on. We are now Fresno residence with Future Ford just a block away. They took the car in for a fuse recall, super minor issue (possible fire) ordered the part, and fixed it. They fixed the heated steering wheel while they had it, and by the way the panoramic roof motor, all while I had full use of the car while they were waiting for parts. They weren't too busy to take my money, honor my warranty, and help me with the car. They even offered to pick me up and drop me back off at home, Roseville did none of this. I'm still waiting for that factory reset code for the locks, but small things. My little dog likes them better too, I trust him. I have no reason to ever darken Roseville Lincolns' door again. You might...
Read moreI am in the market for a used vehicle. I test drove a RAV4 and when we returned, I wanted an estimate for the price for the vehicle and the kid who had ridden with me for the test drive had to go and get his finance guy after asking for a credit check. I refused because I wanted to negotiate the overall price for the vehicle beforehand. The finance guy arrived, asked me again for a credit check, which was frustrating but I refused again. After this point he took some personal info from me and asked to move us from the table we were seated to a table away from the managment offices which he deemed his "lucky table". I assume he did this so we could not see him going back and forth with his sales manager. He asked "what kind of payment can you afford" but we made it clear we were only interested in the total cost of the vehicle excluding the useless dealer add ons. After the second time of him leaving the table to "negotiate" with his sales manager my father made our frustration known and that we felt we were being played. After the third time of the finance guy returning with no real improvement on overall price (he continued focusing on the finacing of the vehicle. We reiterated this multiple times to them we wanted to negotiate the total price.) we decided to get up and leave. The finace guy and the sales associate chased us out of the door followed by the sales manager. He asked "what can I do to make you happy?" and we reiterated our desired overall price and at the end, he said "well sounds like we need to find you another vehicle" so we walked. Not only did you lose a sale but we will not...
