Three years ago I had a life changing event, "A Fall". I sustained injuries to my back, shoulders, neck, arms, as well as a concussion and whiplash. I have had carpal tunnel surgery done on both arms and had been receiving nerve blocks in my head, neck, and shoulders every 3 or less months in addition to muscle relaxers and prescription pain meds and continuous physical therapy. Every doctor, physical therapist, and massage therapist said that there was a big issue with the levator scapulae muscle in my left shoulder and they were not able to resolve the issue because it is located under the scapula, well Dr. Galis found the same issue. He had 2 different MRI's taken to make certain of the issue and then he went to work on the muscle. He has been under the scapulae in my shoulder working to release the muscle, no problem! Though I may never be pain free or back to where I was before the fall, I am no longer taking pain meds and muscle relaxers daily. I am upright and walking and very thankful that after two years of severe pain and mobility issues I found Dr. Galis. His office staff are wonderful to work with and he is very on top of treatment every time I see him....

I started treatment for a torn rotator cuff in March. After surgery I had high hope that I would have great success with physical therapy I was highly referred to Elite Physical Therapy. Dr. Dawn was so great with my treatments. She took time to explain what she was going to do. After six weeks I could not believe how far I got. After seeing my surgeon he suggested six more weeks. I have set my goal and today I have almost reach them. Dr Emilio and staff are very knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend them.

08/10/24 I recently completed my treatments for my torn rotator cuff and I am very happy with my results. The staff at Elite Physical Therapy are really great, caring and knowledgeable. My knee started turning inwards and ending up requiring arthroscopic surgery to remove a loose body as well as clean up arthritis. I was very uncomfortable walking and was having a hard time doing routine things. I was going to physical therapy, but just wasn't improving very well. I came to Dr. Emilio Galis for a second opinion and in 1 visit, he was able to determine that my kneecap was out of alignment and that my muscles were extremely tight. He did Trigger Point Release Therapy and I immediately felt better. I have been able to get back to exercising and continue to improve with each visit!
