Visited this store for the first time on 9/29/20 at approximately 7:30 pm. Hardly any fruit/produce available for purchase. They only had 5 small, single bananas (not in a bunch) on the display, and very few tomatoes. Deli was already closed, so, could not purchase any lunch meat/cheese. I also found the layout of the store a little odd. Not sure why the first aisle is the bread aisle, since you then have to constantly move the bread once it's in your cart to prevent it from becoming smashed as the result of placing other items in your cart. Although, I will say that became helpful later in my shopping trip, whenever I was in the frozen aisle, and yet again had to relocate my loaf of bread within my cart to add additional items. That is when I noticed that the entire bottom and one side of the bread was covered in green mold. I then had to backtrack all the way to the first aisle to obtain another ( mold free) loaf before checking out. The 2 stars is for the cashier, who was very friendly. I definitely...
Read moreToday really bummed me out. I have had a few bad experiences but today I just had to change my review. I am sad that the hot foods is never open when I go ( even at 3pm in the afternoon) and deli is hardly ever open.) The thumbprint are still 4.99 but I thought someone just ate two out of the box... no all the containers only have 10 cookies. It should be advertised or in a different package only 10 for 4.99 instead of the usual 12 for 4.99. Then since hot foods was closed the chicken. Was all packaged I really needed chicken thighs. I grabbed a bag that said 3 chicken thighs and thought perfect won't have to get 2 bags... well silly me for not opening and checking the bag hot home and only 2 pieces of chicken breast were in the bag. Why couldn't they just actually label it correctly so this pregnant lady actually got what she wanted.
The prices also have been increasing and I haven't seen many good...
Read moreThis is pretty nice as far as Shop 'n Save stores go. I wish there were more healthy options (paleo, gluten free, organic, local) but it's about on par with other local grocery stores concerning that issue. They often have soup bones, which is great. The prices all around aren't anything to write home about and in some cases are higher than what we pay for identical products at Giant Eagle. They do have a cafe up front which looks nice though I haven't used it. Also, there are usually a bunch of racks full of sports apparel right at the entry which I would rather they use that space for healthy food. It is a grocery store, after all! I didn't go to the grocery store to buy...
