Stylist sounded great when asking me questions prior to starting on my hair, said she knew hair and liked exactly the style I wanted. My hair touched my shoulders when I came there, I wanted to keep the length, keep my scrunching look, just needed hair shaped with some long layers to give lift, told her exactly how I handled my hair from washing to style before starting and specifically said I do not want short hair and not to cut the top layers short because I will loose my curl! Well, 2 1/2 hours later, still hacking away, I had to tell her, enough, I am tired of sitting here. When she gave me the mirror to look at my hair, I could have cried, it is so short I can’t even use my regular curling iron on it and she left the bottom piece long and flipped up! WHAT Really! I had to have her cut that off and try to blend in. It looks awful! It has taken me years to grow out my hair and now, shorter than ever, plus, she did not blend my sides in, they are original length! It took all I had to hold my composure and not make a scene, as I was leaving the other stylists and owner said my hair looked great! Well, so much for trusting their honesty. I am not young and my hair grows slow, so will take forever to grow back beyond this disaster! WHY can’t stylists LISTEN to their clients? Only gave the one star for the scalp massage...

I can't say enough good things about my experience yesterday at Snoballs. From the initial attempt to make a last minute appointment over the phone, to the very end, I was treated with kindness and respect. This was my first time here. My requests for my daughter and I during this appointment were not few or easy but Nina made it happen.She made sure that even last minute, squeezing us in, that we both left feeling beautiful and important. It is clear that this staff and Nina clearly care about their customers on a level you won't find many other places. Not to mention the quality of the work that was put in! I have never in my life left a salon feeling completely satisfied. There would always be something or another that I didn't like. Not this time! My 11 year old had the best day and loves her haircut and I am beyond thrilled with my bayalage and haircut. You know it's a good job when you wake up from a hairday the next day, look in the mirror and you are still happy with your hair and not in, what do I do with it now, mode. Stephanie Smith has been the best stylist I have ever met! She's very knowledgeable about all aspects of hair as she explains things throughly to give me a better understanding of what she is doing. She makes the salon feel like home, you never feel rushed, you never know if she's having a bad day, and she makes the experience worth coming back for. Her work is incredible, not only do the results turn out gorgeous, but she always take your hairs health into consideration and won't do something that will damage the hair which means a lot to me, as it should to other clients. I would recommend Steph to anyone! The entire experience, from the time she tells you to come to her chair, to the time she's turning you around in the mirror to see your results, is something that you will not find in any other salon.
