I have been a Verizon customer for 24 years and very disappointed at the service I received recently at this store to purchase a new phone. The sales person, won't mention names, was not helpful at all. I needed to change my plan to get a new phone and was looking to lower my current bill of over $228. She was more interested in selling me home internet instead of my immediate needs! Then she brings me out 2 estimates of my new bill with my new phone and both were higher than what I was currently paying by over $40. She had added extra services to my bill without even telling me until I questioned her - Verizon Mobile Protect and Verizon Home Device Protect adding $63 to my monthly bill! How many other customers of Verizon have items added without them knowing? I left the store without purchasing a new phone and told her Verizon probably just lost a loyal 24 year customer and she seemed to not care at all! Went home and did my own research about the Verizon plans and phones and got my brand new S24 phone and also ended up lowering my bill by almost $100!! Very sad to see that sales quotas are more important than customer...
Read moreI've had no issues with this store. Last time I needed a new phone I think it took a whole 15-20 mins, which is nothing compared to other stores I've used.
I also ordered a tablet that was out of stock, but was arriving later in the day. They called me when it was in and already had it's cell service setup and ready to go. 1 minute total on that one.
For the complaints... Yes, they will try and up-sell you, it's their job. If you do your research on what you want you can just tell them that and nothing else. Sure they'll ask if you want accessories, again, they're sales people. Also, don't expect them to know everything about every device... a new phone, tablet, etc comes out every day.

We attempted to order the phone, from Verizon on-line, the night before and after difficulty, we cancel and decided to pick it up at the Rostraver store. They had it in our name, but couldn't release it for 24 hours. Verizon Customer Service was called and stated that Manager Kelly could override that and released the phone. She refused and hid in the back, sending an employee out. to talk with us. After 10 years and thousands of dollars with Verizon we are switching carriers.
