My name is Lauren and I purchased a gift card from the Lover's Lane in Royal Oak MI on 8/19/22 for $100 for a friend's bachelorette party. My friend then attempted to use this gift card a year later, and was told someone had already used the balance. I was so embarrassed! I called the customer service line, where Emily was very kind and professional in trying to resolve this issue. She asked me if I knew a person named Ashley (?), who I am assuming is the person who ultimately stole the gift card balance. Emily stated it is policy that she is unable to tell me who used it, or what was purchased with the card. She also stated that it was not an employee of the store who redeemed the card, but that since the card was not in my possession (the person who received it as a gift has it, but I could get if needed) that the company would not consider this purchase as fraudulent. I am concerned because how is the company able to determine that the card was not redeemed by an employee or an associate of said employee? No one of that name would have had access to the gift card. The recipient thought that there was an expiration when she tried to use it. It is my understanding that gift cards don't expire, but apparently the number was stolen? I now believe this may be a security issue, and that the number was accessed from the Lover's Lane system; as it was not entered online or used prior to the recipient attempting to purchase in store. I really would like to resolve this issue, and get back the $100 on the gift card; have a new one issued; or receive a credit on my credit card. I have never had issues with Lover's Lane prior to this, but this experience has really soured my opinion. I would like to be able to purchase a gift card with the confidence that when the recipient is ready to use it, the balance will be there. I no longer have that confidence in Lover's Lane. I'm now concerned, wondering how secure my credit card information is in the Lover's Lane database.

I DIDN'T HAVE A WRAPPING PROBLEM NONE OF THE OTHER TIMES THAT I CAME INTO THE STORE I HAD ABOUT 35 ITEMS. I'M THE ONE SPENDING MY MONEY AND I DON'T HAVE TO SHOP THERE. WHEN I GIVE GIFTS I LIKE THEM TO BE IN PRETTY TISSUE PAPER. SO I SAID CAN I HAVE THE SMALL BAGS AT LEAST AND I WAS TOLD NO. NEXT TIME I'LL JUST GO ELSEWHERE. I bought a $60 dollar 3-piece set, very beauiful product. I bought it in my size, in hopes that it would fit. It did not fit me in anyway. This is what makes it harder for me to go back and buy more lingerie. If i was able to try them on then id feel more confident about coming back to by another...
