Sushiro Steakhouse — Local services in Ruston

I dined in here two days in a row once with my company and the next with my finance. The first day I got the Pink Lady fried sushi and it was pretty good. The pieces of sushi are big and they fill me up and I am a 220lbs guy. The second day I got the Yamato fried sushi which was also good. I also had some of the hibachi the steak is good as well and so is the warm sake. Their vegetables from the vegetable hibachi are good too. My main complaint would be the lo mein noodles. These taste like they sit in peanut oil it is very strong and very oily. The taste in these noodles is not very good, if you mix sauces with it, it’s a little better but there is way too much peanut oil. The miso soup also didn’t have the best flavor. We tried their sashimi and sushi rolls and they were great! Very excited to know that we no longer have to drive to Monroe when we get the hankering for some solid sush.

The line was out the door the entire time we were eating, and the man and lady running the floor were busting butt. Everyone was greeted when they entered and were thanked as they were leaving. We didn’t have a negative experience with their service, and completely understood any delays considering their current “grand opening”circumstances. We thought they did an amazing job at juggling the crowd.

Our son decided he wanted sushi from SuShiro Steakhouse for their wedding rehearsal dinner, and Joe at SuShiro was great to work with! He provided a beautiful display on wooden boats with real flowers and cucumber flowers among the different kinds of sushi. (I wish I had pictures, but we totally forgot!) They also made 6 trays of fried rice and yakisoba noodles that were delicious, and we ended up eating them for days afterward! :^) The spring rolls were delicious and all gone by the end of the night.
