Awful ....Awful Experience. If you want a HASSLE, go to this Walgreens.

I was home visiting my parents for the weekend. I was having problems with my tooth and spoke to my Dentist in Houston, Tx. My dentist set an appointment for me to come in when I get back and get tooth looked at. Meanwhile my dentist called in an antibody and pain meds. When I went to pick up my prescription I was totally discriminated against. The pharmacist told me I should have gone to a dentist around here he would not refill the pain meds just the antibody because they have a had a problem with fake prescriptions' out of Texas. I told him to call my dentist and ask any questions he needed to. To look up my dentist and he said he didn't understand why I didn't just go to a local dentist (he had never heard of my dentist). Well sir- maybe because I have choice of who I go to and maybe because I already have a dentist, and I'm just visiting for the weekend. In America we have the right to decide which dentist we want to go to. OMG! Terrible experience- I will never go here for any reason now. Spoke to the store Manager and she basically said he has the right to refuse, she was nice and I think felt my pain but it was nothing she could do. I had to drive to other Walgreens in town to get the other 1/2 of the prescription. This...

This was my first time going to another pharmacy for my medications in Ruston. I previously used Waltz before they closed for good. I was very nervous about how it would turn out because I’ve had many negative experiences at the Walgreens Pharmacy back in my hometown in Shreveport. I got to the counter around 7:45 and they close at 8:00. I had no idea what I was doing, I didn’t know what prescriptions were given to me (I just nodded my head at when I was at quick care). Quintin greeted me behind the counter and I showed him the 2 written prescriptions that I had. (Never have had written prescriptions before - they’ve always been sent over electronically. Luckily Quintin helped me understand how it all works.) ANYWAY long story short, both Quintin and the other guy… his name starts with a B - they were both extremely helpful and informative. Quintin helped me find some medications (even though there was a small like and 10 minutes until closing). Quintin was so willing to help and so was B. I could tell they were ready to go home and seemed so busy but they still showed great care. I’m so grateful for those two...

My boyfriend and i needed to get some medicine because we both had a pretty bad cold. the lady at the front check out counter kept IDing us(we were both 18 at the time) and kept denying purchase. i went to the pharmacy counter and asked them which medication i would be able to purchase and they told me none with alcohol in it. it was difficult for me to understand because i have worked at a local pharmacy and have never heard anything like that before. we got the medication that was recommended and brought it up to the counter where we were denied AGAIN. we left and came back the next day with a different cashier at the front register. we had 0 problems checking out. i asked him if they normally IDed for this medication and he told me no. to that cashier lady who kept denying us; i hope you know that if i see you again, it’s on sight. this was the...
