Dr. Anita Chait was extremely sensitive, thorough, and informative when I saw her for a couple of visits - she had availability on short notice when I was dealing with a resurgence of symptoms my previous gynecologist shrugged her shoulders at. I can have pretty bad health anxiety as a result of being dismissed by doctors in the past, and she called me personally to let me know I would need a colposcopy due to a positive high risk HPV test and abnormal pap results. Dr. Chait could tell I was very anxious about this and quickly sprang into action to quell my anxiety by explaining probabilities and how easy it is to be referred for cervical dysplasia/cancer screening due to new advancements in testing guidelines. During my appointments, she was very sweet and explained everything I needed to know thoroughly. She also called me personally again to let me know my colposcopy results were completely clear and seemed genuinely happy to deliver this news to me. In this day and age, I’ve had many doctors either have their support staff call me about results or upload them to a portal with no explanation. Not only did she do all of this for me, but she also correctly diagnosed me with and treated me for a pathogen that caused urinary issues for over a decade - I had been under the care of a urogynecologist who failed to test me for this pathogen prior to my visit to Dr. Chait. She is a very good doctor who cares about her patients and takes her work ethics, guidelines, and standards extremely seriously. I previously had very serious issues with seeing gynecologists due to a history of abuse and while I unfortunately can no longer see Dr. Chait due to an insurance change, she really helped me conquer that fear without giving me any...
Read moreI will never go back here again! I haven’t seen a GYN since 2017 after my doctor of many years left the country. I decided to book an appointment with this doctor closer to home. The first issue is that I called while in the area because there isn’t any parking nor is the entrance the same as the main entrance. When I called they put me on hold and never answered— luckily was was able to find the place on my own. When I arrived there were no other patients in the waiting area. I completed the paperwork and was taken into the examination room. I was asked to remove all clothing and was given a paper gown. The nurses came in once to check my vitals and get a blood sample. I was already nervous because of the amount of exposure one is under when visiting a GYN and the next 40 mins I sat on the examination table, naked under a two-piece paper gown and a mask on. The room was tiny and I was sweating. The gown ended up ripping in shreds because I was sweating. No one had the decency to check on me in those 40 mins. I decided to get dressed and I left without being seen. As I was walking out, I explained how uncomfortable I felt and how inconsiderate it was of them to just leave me in there for that long. The doctor’s response was “oh ok”. I didn’t even...
