I have been going to Cars in Ramsey since they opened in this location, that is to say, nearly a decade, I have to admit for any place to survive that long in that location is impressive. What is not impressive is the rapid decline in service and food quality over the years, they've replaced many of the great menu items, which are sadly no longer available. I also suspect that the change in the shape of the mac and cheese bites comes from switching to a premade bite supplier, likely restaurant depot, while retaining the high cost of these newer, lackluster bites. Place used to be pretty great, it's now a shell of what it was. I used to go for the nostalgia of it, I remember any given night, the place would be jumping and lively, packed to the gills with people, you'd be lucky to get a spot on the chairs near the window. now, it seems rare to encounter more than five other people at a time. none of the staff there seems to want to take your order, just use the tablets instead, the tablets have half the menu, and are convoluted to use, when I was there last the second tablet was set up as a time clock station. I waited for three minutes at the counter, only to be sent to a tablet, and then to wait a solid ten minutes for two customers ahead of me to figure out how to use the one working tablet in the place, I gave up, and left hungry, this place fell off, food isn't even that decent anymore, not worth it anymore. bad prices, bad food, bad environment. Don't waste...
Read moreThe staff is extremely disgusting , watched the cashier Sandie cough all over my food and got upset with me when I asked for it to be remade, continuously rolling her eyes at my brother and his husband, when my brother asked what was good to eat she said all the sandwiches were good then rolled her eyes. I ordered a 8 piece Mac bites, fries & a 8 inch fat hawk . I asked for extra beef she forgot to put it and when my brother asked for it to be fixed she rolled her eyes again and under her breath made a comment to the cooks saying “those people want more beef” as if it was an issue to serve my brother and his husband . I then wanted all my food remade and just ended up throwing it out because she continuously coughed all over my “remade” food even tho she told me they just refried it. Very disappointed. I used to come here often at night on Saturdays when the manager was a blonde young girl and there was lgbtq friendly cashiers male and female. But I will no longer be wasting my money in this place . Horrible service & the cashier should be...
Read moreFirst time going to Cars & had horrible customer service. The woman who took our order was very impatient and greeted us with “do you guys know what you want?”. While ordering she made us feel uncomfortable as she took our money and/or cards angrily. She threw our sandwhiches on to the counter when our order was done. My friend and I wanted a soda & so we bought a Dr. Pepper. After, the both of us thought it didn’t taste right and told the woman if we could change it to a Coca-cola... she then proceeded to try the soda and say “it tastes fine to me”. She really gave me and my friend a hard time with that & the customer should always be right. It’s 2020, if you don’t like the job sis then find another. Another thing is that a bunch of kids were coming in and out, making it hard for people wanting to eat in to find a spot to sit. Some of those kids even came up to us asking for money. Very bad first impression...
