I never leave reviews but I am disgusted by this company's communication, attitude, and organization. Do not use this company. After a friend recommended them to me I went online to book them for my daughter's birthday. I received a confirmation email. By the way- no where on the website or the confirmation was the cost posted or any details other than a place to put your address and time requested. I called and texted to confirm and get more information and I was told by a gentleman that the party was confirmed. I assumed I would be paying what my friend paid which was $35 for the visit plus the cost of ice cream- my mistake I guess for not asking but they also didn't give any info. Lesson learned. On the day of my daughter's party I received an email that my service was being canceled. I called immediately and was told I was canceled because I didn't answer the phone 20 min prior. I explained I missed the call due to setting up for the party and there was no reason to cancel. At this point I was told that it would be $135 for them to come and the man actually was shouting and telling me how busy he was and that many people canceled on him the day before- how is this my problem? Backed against a wall since I thought I had confirmed the service... I negotiated $75. Our appointment was for 2 pm. At 215 while all the kids are waiting for the ice cream truck I had my husband call again to see what was going on. He was told that they were in another town and would need $200 to come? DO NOT BOOK! I hope people take this review seriously before even thinking about booking this awful company. On 5/25 I booked services for the ice cream truck for my nieces first birthday for today 6/6 at 4:30pm. I booked it online as per their website request and got a return email that I was confirmed. I even called the owner Yousf to confirm the location and date the same day. I texted him yesterday to confirm again, he said “I’ll see you there.” At 4:15, I called him to see what time he’ll be arriving, he goes did you book? I said YES, for today at 4:30. He then states he’s going to be late bc I’m in upper saddle river probably another 40 minutes, mind you we reserved the time for 4:30, and then party ended at 5. At 4:50, I called him he goes “I’m stuck in traffic, so the gps says 12 minutes, but it can be 20, so you should cancel.” CANCEL?! I had all these little kids waiting for ice cream. I scheduled an ice cream truck visit by Joe on his website for my daugher's 9yo BD home pool party. It was the first time I had an ice cream truck come to a party. Joe came right on time (came a few minutes early). The first thing that everyone heard was the ice cream truck music outside. The sound was loud and exciting for the kids. All the kids ran out and were all excited. After ordering they all hung out around the ice truck and Joe made fun conversations with them for about 15 minutes.
