This has been my gym for almost two years (until I had to move out of Sac) and I could not speak highly enough of it. I've never stepped foot into a boxing gym prior to joining Flawless and I think I got really lucky with my choice. I've attended courses with every trainer there, and I think each of them is super nice, approachable, supportive and helpful (and most importantly, legit boxers). Everyone treats you like you're family in there and I really miss this gym.
Brandon who runs this gym was an olympic-level boxer and could not be a nicer guy. Other trainers I worked with (Angi, Natalie, and Keto) also have impressive resumes and are great teachers as well. In summary, they all know what they're doing and you'll really learn how to box and develop good boxing/movement habits since trainers go around and give advice to improve your form. How far you want to go depends entirely on you. If you're in it for the fitness part of it (many are) then this gym is definitively for you. The regular classes focus on both technique and conditioning. If you want to become a competitive boxer, then you can join the advanced classes (in which you can actually do sparring, etc.). You can always book a private session with any of the trainers, too. Signing up for classes is super convenient with the Mindbody app.
The regular (not advanced) classes usually consist of warming-up jumping rope and shadow boxing. After that, depending on the day, it's either 10 rounds on the bags or pad work with a partner (with combos displayed on a screen). Some of those rounds are strength and conditioning rounds, typically focusing on a particular body part (e.g. Monday is leg day, Tuesday abs, Wednesdays shoulders etc.). All exercises are boxing-specific exercises, including squads, lunges, kettlebell/dumbbell exercises, battle ropes, TRX bands, med balls, pull up bars, dip bars -- you name it! The gym is equipped with everything you'd need (heavy bags, uppercut bags, double-end bags, speed bags, standing heavy bags, etc.)
Learning the combos and technique takes some time, but I could really feel the effect of the combination of strength&conditioning and bag/pad work after just a few weeks. You can tell your movement gets faster and more explosive, your endurance much better, and your movement and coordination for throwing punches and slipping improves significantly. I've lost 25lbs just by going to the boxing classes 3 days a week and cleaning out my diet in 4 month--while...
Read moreFlawless Boxing and Fitness is the place to be! Sit back, hold on tight, and be prepared to read this Starbucks indulged-ADHD-THC fueled- burning calories- expertise- review on this particular place here. First things first, I met Brandon during the summer while I was looking for a place to train. This gym has a wide array of instructors whos levels transcend beyond what one can imagine. The trainers are helpful, motivating, and charismatic. Classes are fun (and rewarding) and will make you break a sweat! If you are in a position where you are choosing between a regular gym versus here, choose the flawless way. The money is more worth it in the long run as you will work your REAL muscles and gain more insight on the "sweet science"! What really made Flawless Boxing and Fitness stood out for me was the credentials Brandon and the other trainers have as well as their teaching styles. I have only been to Brandon and Dominic's personal training and both of them were great! I recently found out that my high blood pressure declined and it was because of this place here! Get fit and not get hit, better yet, get fit...

They also do sparring sessions a couple Saturdays a month if you are looking to get in the ring and test out your skills. IF you do decide to spar the coaches are really good at matching you with people your size and skill level.
Brandon, Dominick and the rest of the coaches are really good about teaching the right techniques and motivating you to push yourself throughout the workout. They are high energy and it’s always a fun time at FBF. Sometimes they have groupon and two week free trials. I HIGHLY...
