I had the BEST experience at this consignment shop! I came in looking for something fun because I was going to a “27 Dresses” theme birthday party. I mentioned this to the owner while browsing, and when she heard what the dresses were for, she went above and beyond—she offered both of the dresses we picked out at 50% off just to make the occasion extra special. That kind of kindness and generosity is so rare these days, and it truly made my day. Not only did she make the shopping experience wonderful, but her customer service went even further. When I got home, I realized one of the tags had accidentally been left on the dress. I had to make the drive back, and instead of just apologizing, she insisted on offering me something extra for the inconvenience. That gesture really showed how much she values her customers. The shop itself is so charming, with a great selection of unique, beautiful pieces, but what really sets it apart is the owner’s genuine care and thoughtfulness. She turned what could have been a simple shopping trip into a memory I’ll never forget. I typically hate to leave a poor review but I have to share and warn others considering the wildly deceiving and poor experience I had at this FiFis location. Do not bring anything here unless you want it to be lost and given zero dollars for it. I brought various high end items to this location and after much tracking down only was able to recover 3 out of 10 or so of them. The owner told me she was sorry and we could “keep in touch.” She used her hip replacement and weeks of absence as an excuse. Two other employees who worked the shop (on odd and various hours who were also hard to get ahold of) couldn’t tell me what happened either and weren’t able to locate my items or even a track record of them being entered into the system. I am reading some of these reviews and I feel like I was in a different shop. This was my first visit to Fifi’s. The owner said hello when I came in. She didn’t offer assistance but that’s ok because I like to shop on my own unless I have a question. I found some very nice items and found all the prices more than fair. There was also a Small Shop Saturday sale going on which made my total purchase a bargain. We engaged in a warm conversation my entire checkout, which included speaking about her gorgeous lighting and how amazing St. Augustine is. In my opinion, she is a lovely person: FYI, I looked awful when I went in and it didn’t make a difference to her.
