DMZ Military Antiques — Local services in Saint Augustine

I had the honor of buying three fantastic pieces from DMZ today and I came away very satisfied and This will be where I plan on getting additional pieces in the near future. The owner (I feel bad that I forgot his name) was first class in every way. He is a Vietnam veteran who has vast knowledge in military memorabilia. I was also introduced to another gentleman (also a Vietnam veteran) and as a Infantry veteran myself, I enjoy conversing with them both. I found the place had a great collection of military items "from the Civil War to Vietnam". Guns, knives, medals, bayonets, uniforms and more can be found in abundance, and a good few items are rare and would make a great piece in a collection. The store is small, but packed with items to the brim. The owner knows his stuff and obviously is very passionate about history. The only drawback is that the prices are a bit above what I would consider market rate but that is to be expected when dealing with an establishment where you can actually place your hands on items. The owner is a great dude with a wealth of knowledge. For a shop this size he has a LOT of really awesome pieces in there. Found a bayonet for my 8mm that he matched with my rifle based on pics i showed him. Got home and the bayonet fit perfectly and looks fntastic with the rifle. Gave me a good deal on it too.
