I was trying to find a red top battery for my Chrysler Town & country which seems to burn through batteries like there's no tomorrow. I have tried everything with this van to fix the intermittent battery dying while driving problem. Apparently it's a fluke situation and it happens to many yes I checked the starter yes I checked the alternator yes yes I did all that I checked the relays I've replaced the battery cables etc and even put in a new battery and it blew up in an event.. I decided that I needed to go with a higher end hardcore battery that can withstand being bumped around and intermittent problems and still performs. Red tops are already go to for high performance. I called literally every single Auto parts battery stores in St George Santa Clara Mesquite and cedar City no one even despite all of their websites saying they had it in stock had one in stock one place said they would order it and have it to me the next day and of course they told me the next day would be a couple more days. At that point I didn't believe they were going to bring it in at all all of them did want me to buy their store brand or brands that they identify with the funniest place was battery Plus we're the owner after I did a search on the website only came up with five matching batteries for my vehicle two of them were red tops. The owner told me no it says we have them in stock but we haven't I haven't seen one around for years in fact I thought they were just continued.. I just kind of went what? Yeah so definitely don't go to batteries Plus to get a car battery because they obviously don't know anything about car batteries and pretty much every employee at every other auto parts store here. When I spoke to Jason on the phone I explain the situation I said I need one of two batteries either the one I didn't buy was he could not get a hold of or a red top and he said I'll be back to you in a minute just stay on hold. I was sitting there in my car where it felt like I've been for days trying to make calls just to pick up a stupid battery waiting to hear more bad news. He got back on the phone and he said yep I can have one here by tomorrow at 1 pm. I think I must have broke his eardrum because I squealed in joy I said are you kidding me oh my gosh you're my hero... I thanked him over and over. Shortly before 1:00 p.m. today I got a voicemail from Jason letting me know they had received it and it was ready to be picked up. I called him back and I said I am so happy I will see you in a little bit I have a couple of errands to run. When I got in the store I asked for Jason and then asked to use the bathroom when I came out of the bathroom I saw him and he said hi I'm Jason and he had my battery. All of the guys at work there seemed super friendly and it will definitely be my place to shop for all future Auto everything. I paid for the battery offered to carry it out to the car for me and I had to give him a big hug because I was so grateful he has no idea what a relief it is. If he saw my phone logs and all the time I spent on my phone browser searching every auto parts store for this battery over 2 days he'd understand why. I wish I had just called them first time. That would have saved me at least six to eight hours of my time that could have been spent building my business. What I really appreciate is the fact he listened to me complain and hear all the stories about every story I had to call who nobody bothered to help me with. You want to have good employees with good customer service? These employees are invaluable to your company they will make a customer for life if you have employees who will listen to somebody just complain and then go out of their way and get the job done and not only get the job done follow up and do it quickly that is going Way beyond the call of duty in today's world of customer service. It may seem like a small thing but when you have saved someone's time that is priceless give these guys that work there of race they've got my business and everybody I know who lives around me...
Read moreYou have to be kidding me! What a place! Clean, organized, helpful, efficient, professional! A huge thank you to "Travis" in the St. George store (on Sunset). I called the store and the person on the phone; they could install the battery but it might be later when he had more staff they could put it in no problem at all. This was so relieving as I had to fix my mother's car today as I had to get this problem fixed quickly. I am from Draper and needed to have my mother's car ready for her upon my leaving back to Draper. When I arrived, I walked into a cool, professional store with friendly peoplw who greeted my warmly.
I waited about one minute, then "Travis" called me up to the counter. He located the battery and gave me three choices. I thought I had to leave the car and wait for more staff to arrive. He said, "no," I can put in battery right away.
A few minutes later, he was done! WOW!
THANK YOU OREILY! I AM A BIG FAN --AGAIN OF YOUR TEAM!
Amazing!
BEST...
Read moreI was in there today (11/18/18) and witnessed one of the employees completely cuss out my brother for pretty much no reason, the man simply said he didnt like the customer service Doug was giving him and he completely went off the rails threatening my brother and telling him to shut his effing mouth. We were completely calm and weren't rude in any way, Doug just went off on us. To make matters worse , the manager Bill was standing there and did absolutely nothing until my brother asked if he was just going to let Doug threaten him. Very dissapointed with the poor managment and customer service training, the guy who originally helped us, John, was very polite and helpful. Doug was very rude and threatening, even at one point taking very aggravated steps...
