If I could leave a zero for the review, I would. We placed an order at Habit’s official website for this location. We received confirmation that our order was ready to be picked up - via text…we went to pick it up, and they were closed. There was a manager in the store at the time, but, we were told by the manager they had been closed for 45 minutes. (yet, Habit’s website said this location was still open). The manager said through the drive thru speaker, they could not refund us and we had to submit feedback at the website…which we did immediately. A day later, still no word from Habit, and they still have our money. We went back to the restaurant through the drive thru, day two, with our receipts, and asked for our food…we were told we had to come inside for help. We then sat through the drive thru waiting on all the other cars in front of us to be served before we could even get out to go into the store. By the time we got to the window, we just wanted a refund because of all the hassle we have been put through. BUT, again, they said we needed to come inside for even a refund. We were not prioritized, although, we had been paying customers long before anyone in that restaurant or drive thru. We left, no food, no refund - my time is worth way more than continuing to...
Read moreMeh. This new location has some room for improvement. First, the prices are ridiculous. Service is bad. Waited a long time to place my order, only one person ahead of me. It seemed the staff was having issues with their ability to take the person's order. It took a VERY long time to get our food. The place wasn't busy. Maybe priority goes to drive thru? We ordered a shake, and after we received it, I waited by the pick-up location (&was ignored by staff until I started asking loudly for their attention). I asked for a spoon. No spoons. Wth? Nope, no spoons, only forks. Have fun eating your shake with a fork. The food was ok. Nothing special. Ordered a char #1 & SB char, also sweet potato fries (meh). All this for $34. Like I said, ridiculous. UPDATE The Habit sent me a coupon to "try again", we did. The burgers were good, still slow service and tables not cleaned off. But I can't get past the point that for the cost of a single burger w/cheese.. You could get a whole "meal" at In 'n Out.
Owner of Habit on Sunset: You just sent me a link to the Habit website/contact? What is this supposed...
Read moreWe enjoyed trying this new location! The staff was nice and helpful! The double char cheeseburger and chicken club sandwiches were great! At first I was surprised by how thin they pounded the chicken breast, but then realized that it worked perfectly to balance all of the flavors in the sandwich (avocado, bacon, tomato, lettuce, sauce, etc). I would definitely order it again (even though it's a bit pricey at $10.50). I really liked the sweet potato fries and tempura green beans! They will let you get half & half as a side dish. Sadly, the side dishes are also quite pricey. The chocolate shake was excellent but the sundae is overpriced ($5.50) for just vanilla soft serve topped with Hershey's chocolate syrup & whipped cream. We were a bit surprised to see a drive-thru, but next time we might try it because the dining room was really cold if you are spending more than 10 minutes there. People sitting outside to eat in 90+degree weather should have been our first clue as we entered. ...
