This store is amazing !! 5 stars for the store .. however over the years I can see a decline in almost everything in the store it is definitely not held to the consentino store standards ! For starters the store has not been well kept over the years meaning such a new store is alot dirtier than it should be .. compare it to Platte city store that is a much older store .. Platte city store is a much cleaner well kept establishment ..2nd the bread in the bakery is almost always stiff and dry don't know what's going on there you used to have the BEST Italian rolls bread ect in all of the land..(still do if you can get it when it was prepared right )..3rd .. let's move on over to that fresh fish case (if you can stand to walk by it ) it smells horrendous!! Do you not clean the trench drain every night when you pull the case and run hot sanitizer down the drain to prevent that smell from ever being there 🤔.....??? That's what was done when the store was open when I worked there and that was NEVER an issue .. might I suggest Tony come back to the store and show you how to do your jobs all over again .. sad part is some of the same people still work there 😪 did they get lazy ? Or just stop caring ... either one is not a good excuse for the public to have to smell that . Also, I'm sure it kills sales no one wants stink fish!!... 4th .. now this one is a split review on the meat department on 1 hand Cassie Clint ronnie and the gang (sorry cant remember all your names). Do a bang up job. The meat looks amazing guys !! And the shelves are Always stocked ...my 1 gripe is the brats /sausage after working at this location and the one in Platte city ,for the love of God stop freezing the stuff !! Platte city has more sales than you and less people to make the stuff and still ALWAYS has FRESH made brats and sausage (RICH AND THE GANG 10out of 10)...and with all of that said cosentinos price chopper is still my favorite place to shop when I'm in or around st joseph or kcmo love the stores love the food love the customer service .. but someone Crack the whip on this stuff, please, because I am sure the rest of your loyal patrons feel the same way..thanks for...
Read moreThis has got to be my most favoritest store. Some of their items are a bit higher priced then big box stores. But I realized that it was so nice that I had a choice. When I went to buy an item that was on sale at Wally World they were out or the pickin's were sad. At Price Choppers I found all kinds of in-store sales that were great prices! I am a fan of pre-made salads. When I would buy them from Wally World I had less than a day before they hit their best by date. And you can tell by the color on the lettuce they were about ready to toss. Price Chopper had very fresh salads with 3 or 4 days left on them. And everything looks so much fresher! They had surprise items like a Toastmaster 4 quart crockpot for under $10. And at checkout oh, I didn't have to check myself out. Most of the checkouts were ready to go and had two people Manning them to check me out. One scanner and one bagger. An employee came up to my car just as I finished loading and asked to take my cart. 🍭...
Read moreMy review is for a very specific problem that affects a small portion of shoppers. Due to a disability, I need a scooter to do my shopping. Their scooters are junk. When I arrived there was only 1 but it showed as being fully charged. I got to the back just to the meat area and it started beeping that it was dying. I went to the front and was ready to leave. I was not nearly close to being done shopping. An employee helped me go through the self-checkout and said she would get someone to help me out. I.never got help but was stuck half way through the door. Just then another scooter was brought in.that was supposed to be charged. I switches to it. It was not working properly either.I gave up and left. I barely made it to my car. As I was leaving 2 other scooters were out there beeping also. And both scooters that I used were difficult to get going after I stopped to shop. Very frustrating. I will...
