If you've been looking for somewhere you feel welcome, simply for being yourself, with friendly and knowledgeable baristas, and an excellent menu, then Luminary is the place for you. Tucked in the Selby-Snelling neighborhood, Luminary maintains the longstanding tradition of local businesses in the area that care about putting people before profits. While they stay creative with their menu and take their craft seriously, they never come from a place of pretentiousness and don't make anyone feel bad for asking questions. Simply put, Luminary is the kind of shop that makes neighborhoods...

A friend recommended I try luminary and I’m glad I did! Before going, I looked through their instagram and learned the owner, Danielle opened Luminary during Covid and the overall theme is astrology. From the drink names to the decor and even down to the Wi-Fi password, it’s all incorporated so well. I tried the cozy cancer iced which I loved. It has cinnamon, brown sugar and chai. So delicious! I love that there are various specialty drinks which cater to anything you may be craving. There’s a good amount of space and free Wi-Fi to bring a laptop too. Overall...

*Cute coffee shop nestled in between a row of shops. The baristas were warm and welcoming, bantering with a few regulars in line before me, but didn’t make me feel like an outsider when it was my turn to order. I had *I found it a bit difficult to find while driving as signage is difficult to see when cars are parked on the street. See posted picture for example. I drove around the block 3x listening to the directions but still not understanding exactly where it was. There is an entrance inside of the store Spoils of wear that...

Stopped in because I had not been there. I was looking for a coffeehouse and found this place on google. It’s a small-ish place and was full. However, there is a patio out back, since it was still nice out I went out back. The patio is very nice and quiet, despite the place being near a couple of busy streets. Glad I found this place and will probably return.
