Spa MD — Local services in Saint Paul

I have not had a pleasant experience with Spa MD, particularly with the management. I had my 5th session on my legs and the technician got a corner of my tattoo causing damage to my skin and tattoo. The manager didn't care at all when I reported this and told me I'd be fine. Then two weeks later I get an email asking for updated pictures, which I thought was nice, but then someone else called me and asked for all of my personal information like medical history and RX number/location. This obviously concerns me as I am not comfortable taking prescriptions from someone I don't know and hasn't even talked to me! The worst part of this entire thing is that the manager never apologized, offered empathy or attempted to make the situation right. She only wanted to "explain". Needless to say I will not be purchasing any further services from this company again. I see other reviews regarding laser and technicians making errors so I caution new customers...

Got laser hair removal. During the last treatment the laser was placed in my nose, I stopped the tech and told her the placement felt wrong like it was facing inside my nose. She assured me it was right and put it back in the same spot. Triggered the laser and fried my nose hair. It was painful and I could smell the burnt hair. I left and wiped my sore nose with a tissue and there was brown burnt hair on it. She nervously laughed but made no acknowledgement of her mistake, no apology. I also experienced toner being dropped in my eye and protective eyewear was provided that still had alcohol on it from sanitation that also got into my eye. I have had my lips done 3 times now, 2 being from Maury. My second time I cheated on her with another spa which was overpriced and made my lips uneven. I felt not only did Maury do a much better job than the other spa, but found my lips lasted much longer too the first time around. That being said, I went back to spa MD for my 3rd and my lips are back to perfection! Maury takes her time with you. She has a very unique and professional way of performing injectables compared to others. She makes sure everything is even, while I also enjoy her way of numbing compared to others.
