Absolutely incredible. St. Paul is lucky to have this place.
YaiGu is easily one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever tried and that includes places in LA. I ordered takeout and was blown away by how fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed everything was. The Panang beef, the satay bowl, and the potstickers were all phenomenal.
You can tell the staff take pride in what they do. They were warm, professional, and paid attention to every detail of each dish, even for takeout! The meat was high quality and tender, the rice was perfectly cooked and brought the flavors together beautifully, and the sauces… just wow. Every bite felt like an explosion of flavor using truly authentic, thoughtfully chosen ingredients.
The space itself is stylish, cozy, and very clean, I’ll definitely be back to dine in soon. Portions are generous and priced very fairly (around $14–$18 per dish). Spice levels were just right, flavorful heat without being overwhelming. I do hope they expand their vegetarian/vegan options down the road, but what they’re doing already is outstanding.
If you’re anywhere near the Twin Cities, this spot is absolutely worth seeking out. I’m rooting hard for their success because I already can’t wait to...

The mahi mahi was so overdone that I had to cut it with a knife, which I have never had to do with a fish before, and the harsh texture made it taste more like over cooked chicken than fish :( Also, the noodles were all stuck together and broke into little pieces as I tried to mix them in the...
Read moreDefinitely check out this place for thai take out. I think their simple dishes are the charm and makes a comfort meal. I had the salmon hot bowl and it was cooked perfectly. For $18 I had a good slab of salmon, rice, veggies, big scoop of avocado, and the satay style sauce was so yummy. I also got spring rolls but today I realized mango in spring rolls is not for me. But if you do have time, dine in! The place is super cute and their windows can open. Best part of my meal was the green tea icecream with fruits. Looks just like their photo and tastes amazing...
