Go to Saji-ya instead. Went for dinner on August 18th 2021. I honestly don't even understand what happened at this place. Our waitress was for whatever reason angry and short with us from the time we were seated until we left. The icing on the cake and when we left is when she sighed and rolled her eyes when I asked a question about sake. Our waitress did not want to waitress this night. She barely came over to the table and when she did she would leave abruptly. Our first round of drinks sat empty on our table for 15 minutes before she came back to take the next drink order. Our water didn't even get refilled. In the 55 minutes we were there we had one drink. Our dinner order was taken 45 minutes after we arrived. We remained cordial with this employee from the time we were seated to the time we left. When we decided to leave I went and got the car and my husband went to pay the bill because of course the waitress hadn't been back since I asked the question about sake. The manager was of course apologetic and took care of the bill. My husband was very kind to the manager and told her that he understands rough nights and that we'd likely be back. I don't think we'll be back. Being treated the way we were treated doesn't exactly leave the greatest taste in your mouth. After leaving we decided to go down to Saji-ya. This was the right choice. We had a wonderful dinner with...

The food here was pretty damn tasty, there's no denying that. The service though.... When my girlfriend and I showed up, we got in line behind two people waiting for a host, to get our table for our reservation. A couple that came in after us was acknowledged before us. That was first. They got taken care of, then I approached the desk to check in, they said just a minute for a table. Right after that, another couple comes in and is seated immediately. Ummm. Not cool.

We get seated, get our drinks which were great. Order our food. The apps come out and shortly after my girlfriends noodle entree comes out, I'm told that the sushi rolls should be just a while longer. Wait about 15ish minutes, asked where they were with the order, was told just a while longer. Another 10 minutes pass, told they were still working on them. My girlfriend has finished most of her meal, we order another round of drinks which took a while. Ask about the sushi, told they're busy, which I understand, but it's getting ridiculous. During all this, I've seen at least 3 other tables near us get seated, order, and get their sushi before me. It finally arrived, and yes was good. Was it an additional 45 minutes plus wait good? No. This was beyond...

It was our first time here and will definitely be coming back. We ordered the Agedashi Tofu, Soft-Shell Crab and Crispy Rice Tuna for appetizers. The tofu was already in the sauce, which made it a bit soggy. I'll have to ask to put the sauce on the side next time. You can't go wrong with the soft shell crab, but I was ok with the crispy rice tuna. My husband, however, loved it!

Now for the main dishes, we ordered too much not knowing how big these are! We got so used to AYCE sushi lol.

Sashimi: Blue fin tuna, salmon, scallops, and uni. The blue fin was melt in your mouth fish, even better than the salmon, which is already my favorite fish. The uni was so creamy and rich. This might be a bit off-putting to some people, so beware that their uni is a tad bit more fishy, but that's how I like mine. Scallops were top notch as well. It was creamy and sweet.

We also got a Titanic roll and Marriane roll and they were huge! I was too full at this point, so we brought it home and it was still so yummy!

One of the highlights of our visit was our server Riley! He was amazing, quick and overall just good vibes. Thankfully, he works weekends. We'll be seeing...

I was looking forward to try this place. Quite disappointed. We ordered the calamari, crunchy roll, Salmon roe sashimi, tempura udon soup and shrimp tempura. My mistake was not reading the description well. I was craving for some soup and I saw udon under noodles so I ordered it even though it says tempura udon soup and thinking, that's interesting. It came with a big plate of tempura shrimp and mostly vegetables and the soup is just a side. Then we also ordered the tempura entrée. Both of these came in a big plate with mostly vegetables and a handful of shrimp. What I'm a little annoyed about is the server not asking us if we really want both of these, knowing that they come in a big plate. A lot of servers will point out something like this. My daughter was also disappointed with the roll. She said it's both too sweet and too salty, which is mostly how the foods were. The only redeeming dish is the calamari but if you don't like too sweet of a sauce, don't dip it. Overall, 2.5 only.

My friend A and I came to Yumi's on a Friday evening because I was craving sashimi and we weren't disappointed. It wasn't too busy and we chose to sit at the bar, but you may want to call ahead of you want a table or have a larger party. Outdoor dining is available as well. We were attended to right away and ordered drinks. Food: Sashimi dinner- 9/10, nice generous cuts of chef's choice of fish (definitely satisfied the craving), also served with rice and miso soup. The Kobe style beef dinner- 7/10, good flavoring and served with rice, I thought it was okay maybe the "Kobe" labeling of the dish made me have higher expectations. 🤷‍♂️ Service was great. Clean bathrooms. They do validate parking but it's a busy area, you might have to park in the neighboring streets. Overall good experience. I would go back for the sashimi.

The location is hard to find because it's under construction. You can also park in the lot, they will stamp your parking pass. We dine-in on the patio and it's a very chill atmosphere other than the ongoing construction. The drinks are okay. My friends ordered mojitos and the mint leaves were dried and turned brown/blackish. They could have removed those out. We ordered a plate of sashimi, and usually I love raw fish but this time I couldn't make it. I decided to try the tuna first and it was slimy and very fishy. Yes, it normal because it's fish but we don't think it's was fresh enough. The salmon teriyaki is good. Their rolls and crispy rice appetizer are phenomenal! Definitely would go back and try the rolls and the crispy rice again. The bill comes to $290 for 5 people with drinks and some leftovers to bring home.
