I love visiting this place as I used to walk here to the fountain back around 1960 when I was a little girl. I went in that water then. Which whenever I have visited it in the past 5 years, I always see it dry, not filled. I also love the little enclosure with the plack. I mean I really love that little area next to the water cuz I have really good memories of climbing through those little windows, playing with one or more siblings. There was a different working drinking fountain back then too. I love the benches (like Roman style) and sitting in that enclosure. This place reminds me of my mom.
