Dr. Julie and choosing St.Paul Pediatric Dentistry for my daughters primary dental clinic has hands down been THE BEST mom decision I have made thus far!!!! š It can get overwhelming as a parent trying to make the right decision in choosing care for your children and I feel so grateful that I made the right choice! Dr. Julie and the entire staff have been amazing since day one when there was only the St. Paul location and I was so excited when I found out they were expanding to a second location in Woodbury as itās closer to us! Both locations are welcoming from the moment you walk in, from the nautical themed decor to the childās play area in the waiting room, you will instantly feel relaxed knowing your children are in great hands. My daughter recently had some trauma involving her front adult tooth being cracked in half and actually embedded into her bottom lip and from the second I received the call back from Julie the night the event took place (after hours) she eased my fears and helped everyone involved in the situation feel like it was going to be ok! She told me the steps to take because, as you can imagine, I had no idea what to do if I should be rushing to the ER or what the right thing to do in the moment was and she just hearing her sympathetic and calm voice eased every worry I had as a mom and was able to just focus on calming my daughter down and letting her know that everything will be ok. There is so much more I could say about how great St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry has been to us but I hope by sharing even a small part of our experience it will help other parents looking for a pediatric dentist to give them a try. You will NOT regret it! Thank you St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry and THANK...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter is 8 and has been going here since she was 1 1/2. I have gone on to have three more children - ages 4, 2, and 1... and they are all now patients! We love St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry. They treat my children like family, and my kiddos are always excited to see the dentist. Iām thankful for the education they provided to me as a young mom 6 1/2 years ago. We also make the drive from Farmington to St. Paul for every appointment... and it is totally 100% hands down worth it. Thank you St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry for everything you do for us!
**UPDATE: I am changing my review because I am really disappointed in St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry. We were informed that after being patients for 8 YEARS (you read that right), that because we have state health insurance, as of January 2021 we would have to stop coming to St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry. I have loved the team at the St. Paul location since the beginning, but it seems that their growth and making money is more important than giving equal dental care to low-income patients who have relied on dentists such as St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry to not turn them away. I wish people knew how hard it was to find a dentist when you are on state insurance and low-income. Throw a pandemic in the mix and itās next to impossible. This will displace so many other young patients, not just my children. Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy 6 year old daughter and I had a horrible experience at St Paul Pediatric Dentistry. We had an initial appointment that went well enough. Our options were explained well, and my daughter was comfortable. We came back for a sealant and filling a few weeks later. The hygienist did the sealant first. It was not really explained how the appointment would progress. My daughter was pretty uncomfortable and scared, mostly because of a bulky suction device that had to stay in her mouth. She couldnāt talk and whimpered the entire time. The hygienist later removed it, ask my daughter what was wrong, and trimmed it down, but at that point my daughter was pretty frightened.
The dentist came in at this point to continue to the filling. She stood in the doorway and seemed uncomfortable with my daughter being upset. She allowed myself and the hygienist to try to calm my daughter, but when she couldnāt calm down within a minute or so, she stated that weād have to try again another day. She then left the room. The hygienist was left to try to come up with a plan with what we might do differently next time.
They then led me to the front desk to pay. No one explained to the front desk that we had only done the sealant, and they attempted to charge me for both the sealant and filling.
My daughter left the experience very scared. Weāll find somewhere else for...
