Went with my husband on a weekend afternoon. They seriously need qualified management during the weekend. We ordered the same thing, except I requested Extra pickles, even stated it twice. This was after standing around for about 10 minutes when we were asked by a passing by employee if we had been helped yet. No, was our answer, so he requested someone come over and ring us up. Not only did I not get the extra pickles, I got none. Also, we ordered bacon deluxe meals. I even told her at the register that I would have the same as he is having, but ADD extra pickles, please. Later, I looked at my receipt, and she rang his right, but appearantly, I'll have the same equals. I'll have a butter burger, no pickle. SMH. I just went and asked for a cup of pickles, but then I realized no bacon also. That's when I checked my receipt. I went up there, and two people totally quickly looked away as soon as they accidentally made eye contact. At that point, I looked around at the crew that was on a decided to just let it go. They obviously were not the A team, not the B or C team. Except for a couple that were running around doing their and other's jobs. Bu they had their head down because you could see how miserable they were but needed the paycheck. Maybe if they worked with others as capable, they would stay, but I could see just by looking around the management either wasn't capable of seeing that or just didn't care. I've been in the service industry for over 30 years, both in restaurants and bars, and in all areas of the restaurants, including management. I love Culver's, but this location has gone downhill for a while now. Too bad it's become a hassle rather than a pleasure to go there now. Save yourself the frustration and...
Read moreI pulled into the Culvers parking lot and saw the drive-thru line at least 15 cars deep and four people curbside waiting as well; I had low expectations for my carryout order as it was so busy. From walking in, placing my order, to receiving it, I waited less than 10 mins, which is outstanding!! The team behind the counter did a superior job of working together. Mazze helped me place my order and was so pleasant and patient. The food runner for outside orders smiled every time he passed me (at least 10x), and the back-of-the-house team cranked out the food so fast! The star of the show was Brenda; she expedited like she worked in a fine dining restaurant I saw her triple checking orders as she bagged them; she communicated continuously with BOH with what was needed; she delegated the two people who were helping her run food so well; the best part is she did all of this with a pleasant and efficient attitude! As a business owner myself, I would love to have a team leader like Brenda working with me along with the other staff. I walked out to my car, so impressed with the drive-thru empty and the curbside clear, and it's because of the extraordinary employees at this location. GREAT...
Read moreWe did a drive thru tonight at 7:25 pm at Culver's, St Paul location (2065 Old Hudson Rd, St Paul, MN 55119). Ordered 2 chicken wild rice soup. When we reached home and tried it, my daughter said that it tastes weird and started vomiting. When i tasted my soup, it was stinking and tasting bad. I called the restaurant to tell them about it and they put me on hold to talk to the manager for more than 30 minutes and no one came to the phone. I had to go back to the store and talked to the person in charge(Jessy C) about the situation and her response was"We are not supposed to sell you that. I don't know who did this".
When told that i had to wait on phone for almost half an hour and still no one came to the phone, She arrogantly said, " We are short of people here". But I don't know how that justifies keeping a customer on hold for more than 30 minutes. Forget about courtesy or apologizing... She don't even know how to talk to customers. I really don't understand how she got to become a manager who don't even know how to behave to a customer. We have been going to this Culver's for almost 10 years. And this is the first time i had a...
