Leeann Chin — Restaurant in Saint Paul

Pregnant Liz wanted noodles and sesame chicken so bad. I was waiting to pick up a friend. I was hoping to eat there but my food was bagged and nobody else seemed to be eating there. For 5 PM on a Friday, restaurant was dead. Unfortunately, that may have meant the food sat out longer than I realized. Poor noodles - they were super greasy, and the vegetables were dried up from the heat lamp. My saving grace was the sesame chicken and this is probably my own fault, but I didn't realize how spicy it was compared to other restaurants. I typically yet the bourbon chicken, but I wanted it so bad. If I wasn't pregnant, I wouldn't have eaten as much as I did. But apparently today, pregnant me wanted to sit in the car and contemplate my life and cry. Cream cheese wonton were really good though. Maybe if I tried it when it was busier, the food wouldn't have been so lackluster. I literally didn't have any cutlery (I thought they gave you a set with take out?) so I had to go to the Dollar Tree and buy a fork... because something about feeling ashamed and embarrassed? Terrible customer service. It was about 5 p.m. on a Tuesday.i walked in, and there was one customer ahead.Two employees, a young lady (asian), had no name tag standing and did nothing. Later, I found her name was something like a young man who took my order. I was confused as he looked puzzled by the order: 2 Lemon chicken with fried rice with no vegetables( I have a child with allergies) plus one side order of rice. Difficult? NO I have ordered this same order for years. The rude Asian girl got involved even though she didn't hear me ordering. God only knows what she told the cook, but they messed the order. She was snarky, entitled, and told me I was rude, making faces at me. Then she told me everyone thought I was rude because I made sure they understood the order. She went running to the back and called the Mexican girl that normally works in the evenings, who is nice as long as you tip her $5 up. Then she asked me, "Where is my tip?" I didn't have cash then she said yesthis is to much and its rude of you to asked for a special rice. Have been in to this location MANY times... Have NEVER had an issue... Came in today for lunch an ordered oyster wings as I have EVERY time I come in... For some reason they were EXTREMELY salty today, like salt had been poured on them... I took them up to tell them up front an they proceeded to tell me that is the oyster sauce... No it was much saltier than usual I told them.. cashier was real rude about it... I didn't even ask for a refund...didn't want a refund just wanted them to be aware that something was different! I just told the cashier she could have them an eat them since she felt they were the same.. an I left! This will be my final time coming to this location... Might want to teach your cashiers customer...
